Every night(not morning) before you sleep, while you are in bed take a mirror and look at your face and say this: All is well. I am honest, I have no reason to lie so I speak the truth usually. Say it four times and sleep.

Wow, Interesting. I never heard of Pseudologia Fantastica before now.

I see that there are two things working for him right now. 1. He knows he has a challenge with lying 2. He doesn't like it - its not something he wants to continue.

Reprogramming will definitely help him. I know someone who had the exact same problem, who would lie until she started to feel the effect of all the lies like a ball in her throat stopping her from breathing.

She had to quit her job which was enabling her lie every single day, and start the brain reprogramming exercise. She is not there yet, but right now there is a 90% chance that she is telling the truth, if questioned.

The way to beat a habit is to replace it with another habit. It might take time but as far as you're conscious of it, you will see yourself making progress.

For a start i recently set a 5minutes reminder in my phone with a tag 'Don't Lie'.

Jesus helped me to stop lying about 12 years ago, op... I used to lie habitually, especially to impress. But now I get quite embarrassed sometimes the way people get to trust me.

In fact, I try to cut them sometimes so they don't implicate me all in the name of Trust...

I don't need to remember things due to lies...

So, if I can't tell the truth, then I'll keep quiet. I won't like to feed gossip, and I don't need to always reply people.
