By water: Get to Ferry terminal at Ebute, take ferry to Falomo. Walk to Falomo roundabout and take an Uber to the Ikoyi passport office. Or you can take a bus to Obalende. From Obalende, you take another bus to the Ikoyi passport office

By road, get to Ikorodu garage and take a brt going to Obalende. And follow the remaining steps above.

I heard Sagamu is better and more organized, but I heard the same about Abeokuta as well before I went there, it ended up taking two months after capturing for the passport to be printed. Maybe try Sagamu, Abeokuta is really really disorganized

Yes, it’s very much compulsory and part of the documents you will be bringing the originals.
Go to your state liaison office in whatever state you are (I.e if you’re not or don’t reside in your state of origin to visit your local govt of origin to get it)
Request for the state of origin certification, also called local govt of origin certificate.

Yes, Sir, it's very compulsory.
I was born in Lagos, Ajegunle LGA..
My dad was from Oyo state, Ibarapa Central.
And I reside in Ogun state.
I red on google that the letter of identification is usually issued by the Local government of birth, which is Ajegunle LGA.


So, I'm confused on which Origin I should choose! Although I used Oyo state in my NIN. And my birth certificate was issue in Ajegunle LGA, Lagos state.

So, if i decide to use Oyo state as my state of origin on my International passport details, won't it contradict the birth certificate?

Im glad to say we have picked up our passport at shagamu just 1 week after capture. This is due to special consideration on Health grounds.

From the very first day I registered, if I try to track it tells me application not found: I thought it will change after I capture but it didn’t change and I was able to capture easily without any issue. How do I track my application now? I’ll be grateful for any assistance. I captured August 22 at Ikoyi for renewal.

Please leave tracking for now and go to their passport office with your slip and old passport to collect your new passport.
