The date is close anyway. You would have to wait for the new LOA

Yeah, a few websites. I also established communication with a few landlords. You can check your school website if they have anything on off campus living because I believe on campus residence must've been completely taken. My school has a few listings on their off campus living. I got in touch with my course adviser that relocated to Canada on a permanent basis back when I was in uni but he's based in Ontario with his family. The hustle is real sha. Most of these landlords would want you to apply and sometimes it feels like an interview sef.

Yea they do but their links all lead to self search with no other assistance, they also warn against accomodation fraud for someone yet to arrive so I'm a bit skeptical.
Will keep looking tho. Thanks.

Another help house,
I am self sponsored, although I am gainfully employed but the fund for my schooling will come from a sale of an inherited property. Please, how should I explain this? And which documents do I need to show? Also, must the fund stay in my account for 1 month before I can apply? Or I can apply immediately the fund enters my account...?

Thanks in advance

Sale of property should have a deed like a binded paper work showing the transfer of ownership from the old to the new owner, that's what you attach as proof after stating this in your SOP.
The duration of time is irrelevant if you successfully explain how you got the lump sum with receipts.

Good luck.

Post graduate diploma, post baccalaureate and graduate diploma are programs that would require you to have an under grad/previous degree in other to gain admission.

Ordinary diploma and advanced diplomas are undergraduate programs that don't require a previous degree to gain admission (your Waec /neco is fine for this )

I want to believe you should be able to gain admission depending on the requirements from your school of choice. I don't have experience with different types of admissions as I've only successfully processed mine.

Check your school of choice, send emails to their international admission office for clarification on requirements you're not sure about and proceed.

thank you, so I can get admission with this grade depending what the school requires.abi?

About Cape Breton university, the course I applied before is not in the school application drop down. Please I need assistance on it or in any other school please @johnstan please

It's PPR for my brother. I'm so happy.

Second time applicant; Conestoga College
1st application was done through an agent. He Got a rejection due to financial reasons. We ordered his GCSMS and the Visa officer claimed he didn't have enough proof of relationship with his sponsor (Sister). Hence, he wasn't sure he will be able to afford it financially.
He had to defer his admission to January 2023 and re-applied again. All thanks to @scott99tish for his advice.

Second application: Self

Application submission : 27th August

Upfront Medical passed : 26th September

Eligibility: Ghost update. Didn't know when it was updated.

Original passport collection: 17th November

What we did different to address the visa officers concerns (proof of relationship with sponsor);

I opened a canadian GIC account and Submitted the GIC certificate

I Wrote a strong SOP and LOE explaining that sponsor is my blood sister

- Sponsors notorized Affidavit of sponsorship
Sponsors birth certificate, old pictures, old/dated whatsapp messages
Notarized Affidavit of relationship
Recent family pictures
Letter of sponsorship from sponsor
Family tree
Sponsors marriage and change of name certificate/Affidavit
Bank statements
Sponsors Assets

Wow 27th August wonderful, started mine 1st June and now I'm scared because my medicals hasn't still been updated and everything is close. Dropping webforms and mails hopefully they attend to it

I sent the mail to 21 IRCC email addresses. I did not upload the bvl. I just told them why it's important to get final decision asap and email subject was "URGENT NEED FOR FINAL DECISION".

You only need to choose a course and then browse thru schools offering the course to confirm their requirements before you apply. Some schools may have a different name for the course but will generally be the same.
It's a rigourous search you will need to allocate time for and actually do cos no one will be able to do that for you except you wish to employ the services of any of the gurus/agents here. Note that you may be charged for it.

Thanks bro, the old Portal isn't like that, there are some section termed "Proof of means of financial support", here you need to upload many documents such as statement of account, employment letter, assets etc. So I was asking if this section will allow me upload for example statement of account, then click again to upload employment letter or if I am I just to click it ones, which means that I will have to merge all the documents pertaining to proof of fund, then upload it ones. Please those that used the old Portal should help abeg

No that’s not how you’ll do it, that Proof of means of financial support portion, you will merge you statement/s of account, assets and all together then upload it in that portion.

Once you upload one document in any section, you can’t upload another except you want to remove that document to upload another there. It doesn’t permit you to upload more than one.

Goodluck

Guys… It’s PPR for my kid sister… she’s 20years and going to Memorial University… everything about this her application, i did it myself from the admission to Visa application. God! I feel like crying. She’s to resume January 5th.

Applied - 30th August
Biometrics- 1st September and updated same day
Medicals didn’t get updated until i sent them a mail late Nov and it got updated after a few days on the 30th of November.
Earlier this week, i sent another mail to them reminding them of resumption and also that eligibility hasn’t started yet.
This morning 8th December, i checked her GCKey and nothing was there… then this evening at 6:44… the love letters dropped.
I logged in and saw Eligibility has started and application Dapproved.

This could be God. She had the most imperfect application. No Tuition paid just compulsory fee of 300CAD.
Pof was 24M only and nothing else…

Documents Submitted.
All IMM documents
Other required documents on the GCKey
Dad’s Mbs of 24M
Mom’s Mbs of 2M plus
Her Mbs of 50k.. Lmao
Property papers
Family pictures

She didn’t submit much…

Good day all
. I have a masters in the uk already and I’m looking too apply for the 1 year prog to get into Canada.
I have few information about the RNIP, but can’t find school in the communities eligible offering the courses I can apply in may. So I found one in conestoga.
My questions
1. Do I declare I have MSc before
2. Which of the areas are easy for pr from the options (I attached the picture), and areas with IT job prospects, as my husband is into IT

Thanks

Conestoga college initial dep of $1,500 is refundable less $200 admin fee, its on their site, however, this is if you voluntarily choose to withdraw 2 weeks before resumption or visa is denied.

Now except your other schools of choice don't have options for an initial deposit then hurriedly pay the deposit so you do not loose the admission.
Form A takes like 60 days these days so the earlier you apply the better.

Don't pay the acceptance fee, it is non refundable. You can apply for visa without the LOA without paying acceptance fee. When your visa is out you will do the needful

By consent letter, do you mean letter of sponsorship?
I'm not clear on what a spousal consent letter is.

If you mean a letter stating that she's fine with your plans and will efficiently take care of your fam in your absence then you can go ahead to draft a letter to that effect. Depending on the length of time you will be away, explain the things you've put In place to ensure she is able to hold and support the fam till your return.

If you mean a sponsorship letter then that entails you drafting one stating how much she's willing to set aside for your studies or the bills she's willing to pay on your behalf.

Thank you for your response bro, the first answer to my question has given me the answer i need to my question.

1. Do not declare you have MSc b4 bcuz they will regard your going for PGCert as no carrier progression which could lead to a denial.
2. Pick Kitchener/ Waterloo (especially Kitchener), both are within 10minutes apart. That area is very popular for people in IT with great job prospects.

Yeah, true. If you find a good website, kindly share with me as well causing arriving first then looking for accommodation is really expensive especially because of the hotel or Airbnb you'll be still while searching but if you have someone there that can give you soft landing then it's perfect.
