They face most stigma.

In Nigeria they leave with nothing. Julius still has full possession of his house and properties.

They most times end up starting all over again with the kids.

The ones with their husband’s name would have to go through a stressful process to revert.

If they married legally, the woman can’t remarry until the divorce process is finalised. Whereas the man can remarry traditionally the next day.

However why do women decide to get married in the first place? Women only get married because they notice their attractiveness is in decline... if they could be forever 21 years old, the vast majority of females will be married and still hv side boyfriends....
