I disagree with you. I have seen a man leave Nigeria at age 50 and was able to assist the wife in training the children. Though not in UK.

The good thing is that the family are permanent residents. So they have certain benefits.

If they are to be on student visa, then the man shouldn't go.

The wife will find it difficult supporting the children alone in Australia. The man may not be able to help meaningfully from Nigeria because of exchange rate.

For me, the best bet is for the man to travel to Australia.

Their are men of 55 years in Nigeria doing odd jobs to survive. Why not a man of 50 abroad.

In a private company that he can be asked to leave anytime?

This man in question has built his family house and has #12million in his pension account, which he has said he will never touch. He also has 2 full plots of land in Ogun state. So he is basically not starting life afresh in Aussie.

Lastly, I hope you are not one of those that say university is scam.

Let me give you a quick update about “Lowlife”, people who are “Frustrated “, “Failures”…….

They are always quick to use FOUL language , Insults and blatant arrogance .

Successful people don’t have vulgar words , they can’t even remember any, it’s always positive words here and there and why would they even curse ? They are doing well and happy

Check ur replies , it has one form of insult or curse word one way or the other ….

Check urself !

Have u seen a tout or agbero in lagos ? Have u ever heard them say anything other than insults up and down ? That’s exactly how u behave here !
No level of education of any form , just like someone that is wandering and lost .

The mind boggles.

For the 'invest the money in business' crew, just know that the Nigerian business environment is VERY hostile. Many businesses are folding up so there is no guarantee that the business will thrive if he should 'start a business'.
guy I beg to differ. That 17.5million is enough to start a standard business in Nigeria. That money can start building material business and you will be ok and the business will start growing.that money will can be invested in treasury bill at 13.5 percent and the nigga can be smiling to the bank with over 2million naira profit for the next 12months.
I personally will like to travel but if I have 17million naira cash,I will take the risk and remain in Nigeria.

My brother no business thrives in a nations that has no structure and stable policies. If 25m is given to most people here, in the next one year you go know how far. Nigeria unless restructured can never have a level playing ground for business to thrive, Reason why many people are leaving. You can be a millionaire today and useless policies would sink your money in a twinkling of an eye.

Reason why many JAPA
1 Good healthcare
2 Basic Amenities
3 Quality Education
4 Free education for kids
5 Destiny discover and fulfilment
5 Etc.............

Now because of money involved me and my husband are planing to go first and then apply for the kids later after we must have settled there, but someone adviced us to do the whole application together get the kids visa and leave them behind so wen we are ready to take them we only look for flight money for them, but we are skaptical because we feel adding them to the process will cost us much more than. We budgeted, please I will like to know the cost difference like what and what we will need to pay extra if we decide to add the kids along while processing our own visa.
Secondly my husband is based in one of this African countries,he doesn't have papers meaning ones he leaves that country to come home he cant get back in there again, and he is working there and taking care of us and Savin up for our jakpa plans,he is worried that what if he leaves thatplace and come back during our visa process and we ended up not getting Visa approval ..God forbid I know we will get, we are aonly thinking both ways.so he said he will be stuck in Nigeria since he can't go back cos of no papers. In this case my people please what do u advise us .
Thank you in advance

You need to answer some questions
A) How many kids do you have?

B) Will your hubby be able to support you and the children if he stays where he is currently.

If the answer to B is yes, then travel alone let the kids remain in Nigeria. But this decision is a function of the ages of the children.

I don't really advice leaving very young children for others to cater for. It almost always end in tears.

Your hubby should not risk leaving where he is now except you're certain your plan will work 100%
