I don't think it's the craziest thing, but my family think otherwise.

It was around March this year when my cat got bitten by the neighbour's dog and it happened that I was away.

My sister informed me and sent me pictures of the cat and the wound was very bad. So I contacted the usual veterinarian that I knew, but she was already occupied. I had to look for another one and I didn't care how far he or she was, I finally managed to get one through a friend and he was a bit far, but I insisted that I was willing to pay him to travel to my family house and give my cat the necessary treatment, as I was away and couldn't bring my cat to his vet clinic by myself, and I didn't want to disturb my family because they only accepted the cats for my sake.

When I told my family about it, they didn't believe me and my mom laughed at me and told me that there's no way a sane man can travel all the way because of a single cat.. .. But to their surprise, the veterinarian did came on the day we agreed on and treated my cat, and also left some medications for my family to mix with her food.. He even insisted that he will come every week to check on my cat since I was away, and he did came the following week to check my cat's progress... I finally did managed to travel back home to fetch her and keep her under my care. But before I could leave, I had to go meet him in person and thank him for his kindness, because we had never met in person then, but just through the phone.

My family even thought that there was something more between us rather than him just wanting to do his job and helping my cat..
