job interview June 1st
job offer June 28
offer letter Aug 26th
cos nov 5th (maintenance ticked)
visa application 1st dec (Standard)
biometrics 7th dec (Ikeja TLS ASSISTED SERVICE)
decision 16th dec
transferred to vac 21st dec
received by vac 21st dec
dispatched with dhl 21st
received today from dhl 28th dec (dhl delayed due to festive period)
It actually took a very long time due to COS allocation
I took a lot of risk...even sent the kids to village thinking everything will work by September for where!
She had 3 interviews from different employers but this one scaled through.
3 PCCs (from 5k to 40k), 2 TB tests

I also have another story to share for my friend that is not on this forum. His COS was quite swift (1 week). only one job application. He is currently on visa application.
Also he did ecctis, which came out in less than 24hrs after payment (swift too). I paid 48hr fast track service for him but it was less than 24hrs (from 21st-22nd). I don't know if it was because of their holiday that started on 23rd. I was shocked because most people in this forum said ecctis takes 20days, 30days lol.
I thank God for everything and everyone who contributed to my questions. Its quite a helpful forum cos I read from the beginning of the thread.

I've skimmed through most of the pages, but I didn't see anything regarding this question.

Must the tuberculosis test be done strictly at IOM? There are other accredited centres on the UK immigration website. Will their results be accepted for both receipt of COS, as well as for visa application?

More specifically, I was considering Q-Life Family Clinic. Has anyone had any experience with them, and is it advisable to book an appointment with them?

Also, why didn't you apply for the Health Care Worker visa that's cheaper & exempt from IHS? Any reason? Thanks for your anticipated reply.

no its not NHS, its private.
Also you dont have the option to choose, so long as it meets the requirement for Health care worker visa, that is what you get. We didnt pay for IHS

Applied for visa since 2nd december till now no decision yet. Some people whom we did bio together (student visa) some have gotten brp,others collection mail while mine, no decision yet. Did a paid call still said no decision yet. Am i the only one in this ?

Did my biometric, standard on the 7 december and still yet to hear anything even though some whom we did same day have started getting brp mails but I'm still yet to hear beep but maybe it will drop after the new year

Tier 2 is a class of visa also known as skilled worker visa.
Cos means certificate of Sponsorship.
Try read from the beginning if u really dey interested in this route to the uk

You can book your medicals with any hospital listed here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/tuberculosis-test-for-a-uk-visa-clinics-in-nigeria/tuberculosis-testing-in-nigeria including Q-life and st. Nicholas.. IOM isn't the only hospital for Lagos peeps, they're just popular.

In appreciation of all your support i want to share my own testimony. So i got COS and was concerned cos of my 10years ban that elasped last year.

After extensive consultations even met an immigration lawyer whose cover letter was very offensive as he quoted different cases and was sounding like a defence already even when i was yet to apply

I got uncomfortable and ran back here for help from the responce i got i did a simple letter explaining my mistakes and how i heard learnt over time and needed this opportunity for personal growth and all that.

dependants forms are filled separately and I don't think you will be required on your application, they only asked about your relationship/marriage status.

Like will there be adequate time for visa application, flight booking, sorting one's personal stuff etc.

So one won't be under too much pressure.

2nd of January
It was moved from 15th of November to 2nd of January on the COS. But she wont still meet up with that 2nd because of air fare. She might likely fly second week

Between the 3 months. Visa processing takes less than a month for standard application
