You’re right. There’s many issues on ground in Nigeria but anytime we witness good one out of bad ones let’s try to share it. Let’s keep hope Alive and God will help us.

quote author=Kapeter post=119499545]I shuttle between Ibadan, Abeokuta and Lagos often. I'm mostly on that expressway but for a while now I've been stuck in Ibadan cuz of the numerous evil news about the Fulani herdsman menace on that highway.

Just before this December I read on the news some AIG visited this very same highway and together with Seyi Makinde the governor of Oyo state, I remember they promised that the road will become safer and there should be no panicking or fear and that people should go about their journey as it would become just as before where everyone can travel safely using the expressway.

Hehe. Yesterday was my favourite cousin introduction at Abeokuta and I had no choice than to be there.

I took a public bus (not that I have a car though but I can always get one when the need arise) off to Abeokuta and on my way what I saw makes me wanna go to every SW government house and say a very big thank you to all our governors.

There are bunch of Amotekun stations, Police, Army. Almost at every where till the end of Oyo state axis and then when you get to the Ogun state axis, you will see the OP Mesa patrolling the whole expressway.

The Ibadan axis has actually been the hotspot for the criminals actually but almost everywhere on the road you will see Amotekuns station even 12 am I was still on the road yesterday travelling safely with peace of mind seeing the huge security on that expressway.

This is Akeredolus biggest achievement so far in governance as the chairman of the SWGF. I couldn't help but be once again glad and proud to be South Westerner yesterday when I saw Amotekuns stations all over the place.

What I found amazing the most yesterday was if your car/vehicle get broken, you'd be surprised at the speed the OP Mesas and Amotekuns would get to you to stay with you while you fix it. Damn. They will stay right there with you protecting you untill your car can move again. Na. This is all that I ever pray for.

I'm so proud of SW governors for Amotekun. God bless them so much. Tonim God bless you and yours too. Thanks for all the love you have for Yorubaland.

Yorubaland will sure take its place God willing.[/quote]

Igbos should learn from south west governors.
They should stop criminality in their region.

Anyway they prefer running away to other regions.

It is safe to say that Igbos are most likely to jubilate and be happy whenever something bad happens to others but will be sad if something good happens to others. Good news about others always makes them sad and depressed. Why is it so?

Look at how one mofo brought tribalism into this beautiful thread just because he is not at ease reading or hearing good news about others.
God bless all who made the creation of Amotekun a reality. And may Amotekun continue to get better and better all the time.
God bless Amotekun
God bless Yorubaland
God bless Nigeria

During Awolowo Era, the Region stood out interms of security, growth and development. And now we implemented amotekun even when FG awkward reaction to its creation and the results is manifested everywhere.. Other region that tries to emulate the same are now turning themselves to cannibal..
I don't know how God uniquely created the Yoruba tribe in such a unique, friendly manner..
One noticeable character I've found out is irrespective of your political party affiliations, once you are at helm of affairs of a certain post , your main aim is to put in place monumental legacies.
They are the most accommodative tribe, always lead interms of the development... You can better imagine if the Region is afforded country status..
If you review what's going on in most part of the country, you realize that vaccum of rational, respected elders is being felt and reason why a senseless child will pick up explosive to set government and private infrastructure ablaze, killing his kinsmen without meaningful explanation.
In conclusion, the percentage of children listen, emulate thier parents command outweigh any other region in the country..
Each time I wake up I always happy that my lineage is from the most beautiful tribe of all..
God bless you the writer atleast this can bring back children with lost memory to think that nothing is achieved under chaos.

Yoruba!!!!!!!! Gbé-fun.

Lol... Unfortunately, what I wrote up there is beyond your thinking capacity. Which one is your region as far as Nigeria is concerned?

If you have money you can live in any part of the world you want. So what exactly is your problem? The Yorubas in London or US why are they not living in the south West?

You're full of hate. If not you will know that even your Tinubu was a bag man for drug dealers. There are criminals in every tribe. If you hate the Igbos don't worry the Igbos love you.

You're obviously the one suffering from inferiority complex. The difference between us is we're ready to learn to better our lives. Keep on hating if that makes you sleep well at night. Peace ✌️
Empty barrels always makes noise. You people are empty, can only compete with Fulani and bokoharam, as zombies and the terrorists capital of southern Nigeria. Scums and nuisance claiming nonsense. You people are parasites, disturbing everyone everywhere you are not needed or welcome. Fools. I hate idiots who brag. Top 5 richest men igbos are not there, top 5 states in terms of wealth and IGR, no Igbo states. Keep your bragging to your village people, nobody is impressed with igbos or Biafrans at this point. It's a land of killing, death and sorrow.

This just shows that Nigeria can work when the leaders are ready to drive the process.

Kudos to Akeredolu, the main brain behind Amotekun. While others were busy asking "Is Evans a herdsmen?", he kept speaking against the tyranny of a particular tribe. While others were busy mocking the death of the daughter of a Yoruba leader, Akeredolu stood up against the powers at the central. He refused to fold his hands while his people get killed.

Men like Akeredolu ought to be respected across Yoruba land but no, they prefer to steal the glory of a SAN for a world class crook and thief who will never come out to speak about anything.

A very nice thread has been polluted by tribal bigots on all sides of the political divide.

I'm Igbo but I fully support and commend any good policy in any part of the country.

The fact is that the Southwest governors handled the insecurity in their region much more better than the southeast governors. This is irrespective of political inclination, because there are PDP and APC governors in the southeast and Southwest.

Moreover, I recall that Tinubu opposed the formation of Amotekun. But see today, they're doing a much better job than the chaos we have in the southeast.

Criminals for criminals, so Ibo criminals for criminal Peter Obi the dullard.
Only a naive person will envy a 'rich' Ibo man because their wealth is always questionable with criminal foundations.
It is the Yoruba that genuinely struggle for legitimate wealth which is why you have wealthy Yoruba across both genders but with the Ibo, wealth is peculiar to only males because they possess the evil mind to commit crime.
