Good day guys. A friend of mine applied for Canada visa while in Nigeria and now IRCC asked him to submit his passport but he’s currently out of the country. Can he submit it at where he is or would he have to DHL it to Nigeria? And how long does it take them to stamp passports these days? Thanks in anticipation. |

Okay so, let me break it down. This is my second application I was supposed to resume Fall 2022 but I was refused my visa application. I’m trying for a second time so I applied to Humber college for the fall 2023 semester. And they were 3 program choices. I picked Practical nursing, social service worker and occupational therapy assistant. I just got word that I got admitted for the social service worker and waitlisted for practical nursing. Then I started doing more research and I saw that it was better I studied for a Bachelor degree than do a diploma program for two years. I don’t want to make mistakes that can affect or make me regret in the future. I’ve been using my NECO results for applications because I don’t have a WAEC one yet That’s why I was asking of universities that take NECO as a requirement. 1 Like |

Hello! I just want to kick start my application to study in Canada, I have a Masters in Engineering but graduated with 2-2 in my undergraduate. Can I apply for another masters program (same discipline) in Canada. And pls what is my chance of getting admission. I believe my masters degree shld give me edge since I won't be consider admission if I use only my 2-2 undergraduate degree. Thanks! |

Hello guys, I have an important question. I already have my study visa for the winter 2023 session. But I cannot be able to resume as it did not come out on time. Now I have withdraw my application and reapplied for the same course for another intake (September 2023). Will I need to submit a new visa application if I am offered admission for the same course and the same school with different intake or do I just need to inform ircc on my change in program start date? Also is this considered as changing DLI? Because I am not changing my school or course. Please I need professional response to this. Thank you! |

Sammmypoko: I see @bullstriker has replied you. If I'm to share my opinion, I'm suspecting you're checking the medicals section on the portal and expecting it to change to "medicals passed". If that's the case then you do not need to worry since the PPR has dropped. Simply forward your PPT to vfs for the stamping and IRCC will update their records themselves. It's good to know you have notified them via webform tho. You might need to explain what you mean by the ppt is being held and her missing the Jan intake. If you mean the stamping is taking too long then you might need to contact the vfs location you submitted the ppt, mine took 15 days to send and return. If she defers the admission, ensure she updates IRCC with her new LOA. Cheers. 1 Like |

DamDamDam1: No, it's not required, I travelled without it. However, upon arrival and in search for part-time jobs some employers require you to be fully vaccinated before they can offer you the job. Cheers. 1 Like |

Moyosore019: Yea, If you're used to sending webforms/emails to IRCC prior to this, you will immediately know that this is the generic response acknowledging the receipt of your documents so you can be rest assured that they were received. Cheers. |

saucekid50: Instead of withdrawing and reapplying, you should have just deferred to the 2023 intake. If that’s what you did then that’s fine. You don’t have to submit a new application because it’s still the same DLI. All you just need to do is send a webform & email with the new LOA. |

I replied to your initial email but did not hear from you. Could you try sending me another message? Changing programs is acceptable; the most important thing is to emphasize why you want to study the program. It is easier to convince the VO when the intended program is related to your current occupation. So, I suggest you go with a program related to your current job. Simti: 1 Like |

@ johnstan has answered you in details. It’s not because of the medical. I believe she will get it soon; it takes longer with VFS Lagos. Sammmypoko: |

The frame size is 35 mm x 45 mm, but the standard passport size in Nigeria is acceptable. IRCC is not strict on passport photographs regarding temporary residence applications. Bamz555: 1 Like |

Thanks much for your response, she's meant to resume Monday 9th of January, she got PPR December 22 and submitted PPT on the 23rd, she got 3 email so far from VFS but she hasn't gotten the one that says it's ready. She tracked it today and it's still saying it's under process. Centennial college gave her till 14th to submit her study permit and 16th to be in class physically. Her passport has been held in Abuja VFS since December 23rd. What can we do? johnstan: |

Is anyone doing the University of Winnipeg? I tried paying the application fee, but my Access Bank Dollar card wouldn't work and Flywire requires a Student Number, if you have experienced similar, please kindly share. 1 Like 1 Share |

SoftdudeKay:After getting a passport request from IRCC you can submit your passport at any Canada visa application centre ( VAC) in your current location for Visa stamp. It is very important to take along with you a copy of the passport request letter. |
