She should list you as her dependent and invite you. No need for marriage. She is entitled to dependents.
You can't just list anyone as dependent. There are only a few categories of persons who can be listed as dependent, depending on the type of visa she is currently on

If you're working in a reputable company here, to be honest, don't go... Turn that place into a holiday resort... You'd thank me later

Depends on her visa category. If fiancé is allowed as a partner in that category of visa.

This is directly UK government immigration website

marriage then she fills for you. You sure say this babe dey find husband or who go pay billshuh.there are lots of 9ja babes who went abroad but dont agree with the working to pay bills lifestyle. They are used to men sponsoring them in Nigeria. Be wise
My own cousin dey para when she struggled to adjust to work to pay bills lifestyle after coming from naija at 20 yrs. She then re-japa'd back to abuja and managed to tag one minister in a new generation church - this minister was preaching he dey virgin and he is looking for princess. Because she schooled in Uk for a few teenage years, she formed one funny accent to scream sophistication. Na lie, anyone who knows correct UK diction can differentiate between the real and fake.

Anyway, she married this minister and scattered his church in 4 years sotey he banished her from the church and moved out himself from the marital home.

So, in short, my brother, be wise - because Uk relationship can quickly turn jail if you no sharp and the woman is wicked

No big deal. She's there on study visa already, gather your documents and apply for dependant visa.
dependent?y’all think dependent applies to everyone.try to consider the relationship between them before claiming for him to be a dependent.they don’t have strong ties.and that’s a big NO for the UK embassy.my opinion though.

Make una do arrangee court wedding for naija, then u apply as her dependant. That's the only way u can work full time and get some money. But be prepared for cold, coded racism and quiet life in the UK.
What do you mean by coded racism ? Please explain

looking at your previous topics you are using us to catch cruise. You are even giving simping vibes. It’s either you go by same student visa she went with or she comes to marry you. This lady is just looking for a man to pay her bills. Work wey she no fit do, she will make you do it e.g care work or factory work. This is looking like a future trap
Don't mind him.

He's already made up his mind.

Na for still the same Nairaland we go hear how the story end.

I would suggest you single handedly run your own package, otherwise, get married (she will have to go to Nigeria for that by the way) then she can bring you in as a dependant, but I doubt that's possible after her visa has already been issued as a lone applicant. There are pros and cons to both routes if the latter is a possibility.

1. If you run it single handedly, pros to that is that you don't depend on anybody and nobody depends on you, makes visa extension and post graduate visa easy for you, fund wise. Cons to it is that you will have to survive on all your earnings. Basically working to survive and study at the same time which can be stressful because Postgraduate here is no joke, you will be writing assignments after assignments plus dissertation for a year. So you will almost need more than 24 hours a day to make sure you concentrate on your primary objective and don't fail.

Maybe of less importance but good-to-take-note-of pros is that, there will be a lot more mutual respect on both sides, she will obviously be aware that you are not dependent on her and vice versa. Just in case things goes down south and awry between you both, no one can "shakara" the other.

2. If you get married and you're in the country as a dependant on your wife's study visa. Pros to that is you can work full time while she either concentrate on studies or work part time as well, means you both will earn sufficient income. Maybe enough for you both to extend visas. Cons is that if for whatever reason, home office render her visa null and void, it will affect your visa too. Another cons to it is that if you cough and she doesn't like the way you cough or how loud your cough is, she can file for a divorce on that basis. Basically she can decide that you're not putting in a joint application to the Home Office when the time comes for renewal/extension, just because she holds the main visa and your visa is just a sub of her visa. Then you are solely on your own, that means you have no footing from immigration perspective. (Avoid the School of Hard Knocks) Exception would be if a child below 18 is a dependant, then the child's subsequent immigration application is tied to the person who holds the main visa which the child is dependent on. No matter what happens, they must apply for the child as well.

I will advise you first go to school, while she works full time.

It is way better if you are ahead of her, so there will be respect.

You can only join your wife in the uk as a dependent visa....you can do that with a gf.
Re: Traveling To Meet My Girlfriend In UK. by Yimmicks: 11:33pm On Jan 11, 2023
Someone has spoken extensively to it. The best would have been to have gotten married before she left so you could apply as a dependant.
However, it should still be possible for her to come back and do legal marriage (as you'd need your certificate to apply for a dependant visa) but that would be feasible if she is not far deep into her studies yet such that her visa will soon expire and she would need to apply for a post study work visa. If she is already on post study work visa or closer to applying, I doubt the possibility of you being granted a dependant visa because as at last year, one's dependant(s ) is required be in the UK before your application for a post study work visa. Since you have someone of reputable character whom you have already purposed in your mind to get married to, it is advisable to come as couple especially since you haven't got kids yet. You can work full time and its generally more convenient I believe. Hence, I really wouldn't advice coming on your own student visa except there's no way around it. Loads of information exist online hence please do appropriate research so you can make informed decision.
Worthy of mention is the fact that if you've got a fulfilling professional job/career, think about the move more carefully because you may have to switch and take "random jobs" first.
