If she's very busy.... I'll assist her .. But if she's doing nothing... Then she's trying to insult me...

Had a girl who was always very busy.....She will send the list and I will go to the market to get food items... I was working from home, she closes 4pm but gets home very late coz of distance and hold ups....

So, there's nothing there...

My wife is my wife and not my errand woman so there's no crime in me helping her out when her hand is ”FULL”.
However there should be a limit to such assistance as women most often regard it as your duty ones you do it for the first time. Tomorrow again they will send you the same assignment even when it isnt convenient for you.

It's nothing Sir, I would gladly do more than all that. She's my wife, not my house maid. I love her. And will do it. After all, I will eat of the food she would prepare from these items, so what's the big deal?

Of course, Jesus served His own bride, so it shouldn't be an issue for any true follower of His.

It's important though that the bride understands the purpose so as not to abuse it.

Every Marriage is unique.

A man that is respected in marriage will gladly do it without his ego feeling threatened.

But then its not everyman that fits into this category because they simply cannot do it even if they have very good marriages. E.g Otedola, Dangote and the rest of the wealthy and famous men.

Dem don pass that level.

Check the responses of men on the thread and see how you just advertised your stupidity.

Why not, if only she’s a virgin.

Infact, she does not need to send me. It’s my home. I’ll definitely know what’s not in the house and what to buy. I’m good at those things. I can even arrive back from work, enter kitchen, cook soup and make swallow or whatever we wanna eat. All those things are not problem at all..

All those things can only happen if I marry her a virgin..

I'll definitely help out if she has her hands full, but it must not be a recurring incident. It's never my duty to do that, but i can help once awhile.

Haba, what is wrong in helping my wife buy soup things wey I go still chop? See question... Unless she is idle in the house all day and expecting me to be going to the market for her but that's not a wife now, that one na madam and house boy. For real marriage, there is nothing wrong in helping each other do anything. Na fun self

I've been the one going to market every weekend for the past one year. I also cook for the family every weekend. Its very satisfying seeing my wife and kids happy when I'm in the kitchen. My wife does weekday cooking and chores so it only natural to support her and not burden her with chores
