Lovethchisom: Which course and how much? "Will I able to pay up when I get there" Do you mean paying through working as a student? If so just bear in mind that Students are only allowed to work 20hrs weekly and Full time during Holidays, check the accomodation price then see if you can raise the school fees and living expenses through working. Esaraprincess: Hi bro, my little opinion best of my knowledge Is the school a good school I don't know anyone schooling there, so I can't say. Is it affordable Affordability is relative. What's expensive for me can be cheap for you. But based on popular opinion, Dublin is one of Europe's expensive cities to live in. how is the accommodation In Dublin, accomodation is scarce and expensive. I have a bachelor degree in Agric. Economics, I got admitted to an Msc program in Entrepreneurship. Will the course affect my visa? Irish Embassy always hammer on career progression and how your degree relates to the one you're pursuing. In my opinion, as AgriEco is not so much related to Enterpreneurship as Business courses are, if you can convince the VO beyond reasonable doubts on your goals and how you plan to implement the course to your degree, maybe starting your own Agri Firm as an Entrepreneur lol. Or you kuku find course related to your degree. All the best. |

One thing about Masters, apart from course work, is #research. Getting started on 'research' now, will be great; although for your visa purposes. AgricEcons is the closest you get to business and entrepreneurship amongst the Agric courses: far closer than agronomy, AgricExtension ... Give a thought to why we have courses like - Agri-business Management - Agricultural Economics and Management Talking of NUI, perhaps, that they offer link: MSc (AgInnovation: Agricultural Innovation & Entrepreneurship) might tell you of the closeness. It should also guide you on 'link' to the generic MSc Entrepreneurship. Beware, mentioning the MSc (AgInnovation: Agricultural Innovation & Entrepreneurship) might lead to VO questioning you the more or ground for refusal. However, using contents from MSc (AgInnovation: Agricultural Innovation & Entrepreneurship) as inputs into how your AgricEcons links up / relates to MSc Entrepreneurship might assist. All the best. Kiingdomjw:The link shared by semmy was helpful, there is a connection because I have over three years work experience in a financial institution. I believe that would be helpful but this one you mentioned, accommodation is scarce and only few people go to the school. I am now thinking, 1 Like |

Esaraprincess:. As there is connection, great then, I had no idea of your employment history. As for few people going there, i have no accurate statistics as to whether few or more people go there na, lol. I just said I don't know anyone going there. E no mean say na few people going unless you found that out recently. For accommodation, I used Hostingpower to reserve accommodation. You can try it too. T&C applies sha All the best to all of us. |

Accommodation in Dublin: It is easier for a camel to go through a needle than this. All the same, you will always get something but might be expensive and difficult to get. If you know someone, the person can accommodate you for a while. The program: I advise prospective candidates to always consider employability when picking a program. Don't do MSc in Enterpreneurship please. It's better you do a program that is more specialised or one that's less narrow. Do something closer to economics..like FinTech, International business. Also cost of living here is getting higher by the day. Overall, Ireland is a calm country and a nice place generally.quote author=Esaraprincess post=120372567]Hi guys, please I got admission to National College of Ireland for a 1 year master. If Edubond is not paid by you, then in my view/understanding, his/,her statements should be submitted, typically 6mths (I guess). Please note, this is in addition to yours. AFAIK, Edubond does not exonerate you from showing/meeting financial capability. However, Edubond drastically limit the degree of (unwarranted) privacy intrusion into yours and sponsors finances. Good afternoon all. University of Limerick requires that I pay full year tuition, but there is an option to pay 50% tuition before they can issue me with receipt for visa application. This payment of 50% tuition, won't it affect visa approval? |
