I applied through an agent in Abeokuta NIS office on the 16/12/2022. I was given 27th of January as my appointment date (capturing date) which was yesterday. The exercise was somehow hectic with server problem and the officers collecting..you know? From the applicants that can't wait because of the unfavourable number they were given. I was able to be captured around 7pm.
When do you think the passport will be ready for collection?

1. The ideal time to arrive there is 7:00 - 7:30am so you can register at the gate and be the first set of people they will call.

2. Yes, you need 2 passport photographs but you can carry 4. If you didn't go with it, you can easily make some at the gate.

3. The passport office is not as crowded as other offices. They are fast and friendly as well.

Guys, please bear with me as I ask this somewhat stupid question. I captured only on the 6th and my connect just called to tell me my passport is ready!
Gobsmacked about the news, I decided to track the document, and found that it really has been issued.
Does this mean, I can go collect tomorrow

I initially paid for fast tracking but it didn't work out...... don't waist your money on fast tracking....

If you capture in Abeokuta by November, your passport should be ready.....

Barely three weeks after capturing in Festac of all offices
I hope they won't look at my capturing date on my slip and with the quickness kick me out tomorrow.
I mean in Festac, registruants wait at least two months or three before getting their pali. Why is mine different?
