I just find it annoying when a bloke can comfortably come in here to ask questions after getting an appointment knowing fully well that he/she won't even care to share with the group if they had everything covered without having to collect information from the group.

Y'all should do better. Sometimes I can't help but think that majority of Nigerians deserve the current Nigeria.
The reason I'm icked about this is because of the fact that I know I can't be that shameless to want to collect without giving anything.

If you recently got an appointment please share with us the date you applied and the date you got the mail to keep hopes high, it goes a long way for people anticipating. Thank you!

Why are you guys like this for God sake

You will get an appointment, instead of doing the bare minimum by notifying the group so that others who haven't gotten can track theirs, you will rather keep it to yourself except you have an issue or questions.

You and you likes in this forum likes taking without giving. It's the people that responds to your questions I blame. Because if you were ignored, it might have helped you grasp the concept of sharing to receive.

Dear Daviesblaze, I can understand your plight gringringrin; they are valid although I actually plan doing that later for those who may be in my shoes because I'm not a student.

Since some people may need it now, here it's:
Appointment booked in Jan 10, 2023, invitation to submit application received on Jan 13, 2023. Application will be submitted on Feb 7.

I haven't posted this because I assume everybody is aware that category A applicants receive timely attention.

I'm visiting Germany are as a funded Postdoc Fellow.

I just saw the above post.
Well, it may not be specifically addressed to anyone but you are apparently going overboard. What's the problem? This is a free platform for everyone to FREELY share his/her mind. No one signed an agreement let alone a covenant to post any information here. Whatever anyone decides to do is purely his choice, including anyone's decision to respond to inquiries undecided

It is good and of course, encouraged that people give back as much as possible but unfortunately, your unwarranted outburst will not bring the intended change. Yes, many may be here to make inquiries but everyone is not a kid that you can talk to anyhow. How dare you say someone is a bloke grin grin grin. In your mind, the word bloke is an insult, right?

Calm down! what will be will be. Those who will respond will respond and those who will not respond will not respond. A better idea is to keep encouraging people to post useful information.

Like how @justt has said, we are all different and our circumstances are different too (even though, largely the same).
It's a free forum and no one is compelled to offer information. People are here to ASK questions and NOT answer questions. You need to understand that.
Someone of us have the luxury of time?, energy and personality to visit threads like this with the aim of helping out with info or getting info. Don't be disappointed if you don't get answers and when persons decide to not answer certain questions, it's a pleasure and not a duty to anyone. I have come to see that the pattern is 1 year+-2 months.
Make your calculations with that and begin to do all what is expected while you wait, and get busy still.

If you begin or continue to promote telegram messaging, note that, gradually, this circle and cycling of info will disintegrate as everyone will move to telegram making the purpose of this thread limited and open info quickly becomes closed.

No.
Your passport and health insurance proof is requested for usually after 4 weeks of interview under normal circumstances. That is after you receive the Decision Email.

Does it make sense if my elder brother is the one providing me with the sponsorship letter, I hope it's not a red flag?

Red flag, how? It is even less suspicious when the sponsorship letter is from a close relative. As long as he meets the requirements, there should be no problem.

Good morning my people.
Can SSCE holder secure Admission in German University?
If no, can he get admitted in Nigerian University, and apply for Admission with his 100L transcript?

None that I am aware of, sadly. German students stay longer in high school than nigerian students. Therefore, our ssce is not considered an equivalent to their high school cert.
