Nigerian man parks his car and bought a horse because of lingering fuel scarcity in Nigeria presently.

He would have rather bought a bicycle rather than horse. Horse will require feeding, services of a vetinary doctor and the dung emanating from the horse could be disgusting. Beyond that horse through their fart also emit methane which causes global warming. Though, horse doesnt discharge much methane when compared to cow.

I'm suspecting he bought the horse just for media optics.

In ancient times, it was easy to keep horses because all you need are grasses,and these grasses are readily available. But now, men, you need to really prepare the hay if you want your horse to be healthy. You need to clean it's body with pesticides. You need to vaccinate it regularly. Infact, you need to ration it's diet correctly else, that animal will look like a good in two weeks.

The last time I went to a polo club in plateau, I saw the poor nature of their horses and I was heart broken. The government should have handed over those animals to a private firm.

Bro some places in Nigeria eat horse meat. I served in Obolo Afor in Enugu state and horse meat is their everyday meat there, you hardly even see cow.
