I remember being on a labourer on a site for like 7 months, damn those times were really challenging, especially when I had to carry bags of cement up two storey building, that was something,I'd sometimes go to a corner and cry,my colleagues who were from Benin republic hated me cos they felt my boss show me too much love,I was the first labourer with him on that site, they hated that my boss loved me and show preference,Id Walk from waterside in ikoyi to inside banana estate, every morning,1 hour walk,to carry mortal all day and still trekk back, except when we are lucky to follow the already filled up staff bus, life was hard,I changed,my skin color changed, I went to lean people in my hood started asking me what kind of job I was doing,I couldn't answer right, then I stopped going home because that beauty was gone.i also remember how I fell sick at work one day I was carried home,I couldn't even bath.that job is so physical,I pray I never have to experience such again.

My online brothers and sisters, help me thank God for preserving my life as I almost left this wicked world last Friday, 13th January, 2023. 13th January has become a day I will never forget in life. Since I graduated from the university, I am yet to get a job that is well-deserving of my status. I'm not talking about big jobs with heavy remuneration (not as though I won't grab it if I see one of such) but just something to earn a living from. The last salaried job I did was a contract job which lasted only 6 months. Since then, despite my efforts, applying to every nook and cranny to land a job, I have been unlucky. However, I still keep hope alive.

However, it makes me think Nigeria really need to redefine and re-axamine the value of education in the country and what it stands for. Does it stand for nation building or for frustration? That is something for another day BTW.

Back to the topic, so with a woman and two kids to take care of, I had to go do labourer job at a construction site to earn something. That Friday was my second day in the place. I never thought it would end in disaster but I thank God that even after falling from such a distance, I didn't die, neither the mason man that was on the scaffold.

The thing is that I was carrying mortar and blocks to the mason, climbing using ladder. You know this local scaffold builders use. That thing they nailed together as V 'abi' L, place them on the wall and put planks on top to stand on. I don't know what happened that the blocks put at one end to weigh its balance failed while I was already up there. Long story short, everything collapsed and that was how we landed on the ground from the finishing end of the building. It should be a distance of 12 feet or more.

What worsened the case was the mason. As the scaffold collapsed, he immediately and unconsciously grabbed the newly laid blocks in safety attempt, not remembering he just laid those blocks. You know that kind thing. Landing on ground, that was how those blocks came upon us in their number like some sort of blast. To top it all, I didn't earn a penny that day. The man is even blaming us for the collapse.

I sustained injuries but my waist especially seems to have dislocated as a result of hitting it on ground while landin. I have been feeling sharp pains from the inside since then.

Since that Friday, I have been down physically and psychologically. As I am reflecting on it today, I decided to write it down.

No matter how it has affected me, physically, psychologically, economically and health-wise, I still thank God for sparing my life and I want you to join me in thanking him.

Thank you for reading also.
Bro, I pray God will bless you soon and thanking God for being alive is what God like the most, your sufferness is over.

Thank you very much sir, for having me in mind and still reaching out even after a week. God will really bless you and keep blessing you always.

Please don't be angry, how much did you send? The entire banking system in Nigeria today is a mess. I didn't receive any alert neither can I even check balance. Thank you.

Hello, greetings to you sir. Please pardon me for doing this. I came across your posts and I could see how helpful you are to people. I pray that God continues to bless and enrich you. Please I want to personally seek your help also. Not just.because of your good heart but because I really need help.

I am in a very bad state right now that I almost committed suicide last week due to hardship and health challenges. Some of the health challenges I'm facing is because of lack of fund to go to the hospital, because I don't have a job. I have been job-hunting all the while but no employment yet. I can't mention all that I am passing through each day that I am alive. Please I am really dying. I really need your help to restore hope in me.

Any amount you can help me will sustain me, take away the depression in me and make me not to consider suicide again.

With it, I can also start Amazon KDP and freelance writing and earn from these fields. All I need is fund for the right training and tools to get started. Please come to my aid.

I will drop my account details and contact number (if needed) on your request.

Thank you so much.

Greetings to you sir. I'm seeing your good works and I pray may God strengthen and multiply your sources and make you bigger and greater in life. May He also bring open doors to us and make us great in life too.

Sir, please I don't want to sound entitled or capitalize on the fact that you are helping people and that is why I want to request for my own, but please I'll really appreciate any financial assistance I can get from you. I am faced with myriads of problems mostly financial that detailing down may even discourage you from reading through. I will really appreciate your assistance in any amount. May God not shame me such that I go steal or involve in criminality. I am a father with two kids and without a job. I know how to sew very well but no sewing machine, not to talk of renting a shop. I am a graduate but no job yet. I have been applying for jobs, hoping that once I get a job, I can save up and buy a sewing machine as soon as possible. Let me not bother you with so much writing but please, consider me. Thank you and God bless.
