Na we dey do ourselves, we create more problems for ourselves than what government is creating for us. greedy bankers, and greedy POS and other people that want to make money from the little available new notes... they will queue at the atm with 5, 10 different atm cards, finish the available money in the machine and start selling the money with high percentage. Some will say 1k on top 10k, some will even say 2k on top 10k. God will judge all of una.

Who created the scarcity in the first place?

If there was no scarcity, would we have issues with high POS charges?

How are bankers greedy?

If God will judge POS, what will God do to Emefiele?

How is Peter obi different from Tinubu or atiku? What makes you think peter obi is interested in the next generation?

How can a presidential candidate tell nigerians to bear suffering for cash in the midst of fuel scarcity? Is he sensitive to the rights of Nigerians?

How will cashless policy being implemented this way benefit us in the end?

How are bankers making it difficult for people to get new notes? Why do you need new notes? I thought you said cashless policy is the best?

Who created the scarcity of new notes?

Continue with your efforts and know it that money won't be available to settle all the Agbadorians and Jagabandits. ......

How is this cbn naira scarcity a reform and how is it going to make the economy better?

Pls explain how you arrived at this conclusion..."No nation can get it right when out of about 4trillion naira cash, CBN can only control about 500billion".

Is it the responsibility of CBN tackle Kidnappers , bandits, Boko Haram and evil politicians?

How is Cashless economy the best?

In most developed nations, funds are easily traced because most percentage of transaction is done via transfer or card. This idea discourages kidnappers asking for ransom or politicians stacking money in their homes.
But over here in Nigeria, the reverse is the case.
Let's learn from the trend of our past.
In those days, robbers break people's home, shops, and attack travellers because they know most transaction was cash. Immediately we had the reform that encouraged people using transfer and cards, that ugly trend reduced drastically.
This naira swap and withdrawal limit will make CBN control the cash in the country and bring a bit of sanity the the Nation.
According to Emefiele, CBN has mopped up over 2 trillion naira cash in less than a month.

We can't continue like this oga

Thank you for bodying that hypocrite. His party APC is at the helm of affairs and he has always supported PMB's anti-people policies for 8yrs, ASUU strike, fuel shortages etc..but clowns like him feel they can suddenly feel for ordinary Nigerians simply because it doesn't favour their drug kingpin candidates. The sudden care for the masses by Tinubu's supporters leaves alot to be imagined in their real motives, APC is responsible for the policy and not other parties, and Tinubu as the flag bearer, who has never condemned any govt policies up until this election periods can keep deceiving himself and urchins, they do not care about us but for their sinister motives which is being dismantled by the policy.. Ordinary Nigerians would scale through as usual, Tinubu and urchins shove their sudden care in their anus!

If you trivialise this issue to Tinubu, you are wrong. This isn't about Tinubu or how he feels. This is about the rights of Nigerians that are being trampled upon. Many times, we refuse to band together and be united in our suffering to fight for our rights because of petty sentiments

Thos policy would only amounted to "dibo ko sebe" if cash are not released to the public. Politicians would always find their way get all necessary logistics including financial needed for their quest to win the election. Tinubu can't be stopped by any force if he's destined to be the next President. Only God has power over everything. He elevate some and dethroned whom he will. On a good day, no supporters of Obi would ever support this policy but because they believe it's in their favour they embraced it despite how the policy is hitting them, they are smiling believing that it is blessing in disguise. Their hypocrisy level is out of this world and it will only bring more pain to them at the end because the policy is just correct and erased our political mindset of votes buying. God gives victory to whom he will and not the amount of votes that give victory!

Use debit card to make payments

Cash should be used only for little transactions

A central bank should have control of money supply to keep exchange rate reasonable

CBN policy is good all transactions should be done by Card via POS terminal or by bank transfer

This stops kidnapping and theft and also ensures tax compliance

Printing of excessive cash for circulation is evil

There is no place in the world where people can pay or withdraw millions over the counter, it's done by bank transfer for tax and money laundering reasons
I support that but as expected with the Nigerian Factor, the transfer channels of banks are having issues. GTB, zenith and access especially... Coupled with others. Didn't they anticipate increased traffic of e-platforms? Is that how they want to run the cashless project?

Mumu don shoot himself for foot.

First, his reaction came way too late. Too late. The last of the top 4 to speak about the current economic hardship.

Pandora Anini should tell us forward thinking countries where the citizens suffer like Nigerians are suffering because their apex bank want to swap or redesign their currency. grin I don know say he's a sakamanje and a very selfish conman. I'm beginning to think Obingo is more selfish than mikano. This is the man promising to turn Nigeria to Dubai - someone who has spoken so much against the oppression, poverty, backwardness, corruption, etc affecting the country. Suddenly, the demonic economic swap is good because it's was designed to fight corrupt politicians. grin

This guys is too poor in tact and reasoning to be a politician in such a complex country like ours. Na just motivational speech - no wit! zero sagacity!

Buhari and the Presidency are already saving face with "CBN gave us false intel" "CBN told us there would be no problem" but the dull Pandora is telling people to be patient with the ill-thought policy. That's the presidency literally agreeing with what people have been saying that the policy is a flop grin The ode is literally saying everyone who opposed the swap policy are wrong and people deserve the unnecessary hardship. I see zero leadership quality in Obi; no wonder the Sultan of Sokoto gave him a book to read about leadership grin

The way I see it Pandora internationally kept quiet and was so happy that "Buhari was fighting Asiwaju with the redesign policy." The delusional man discovered late that he has been left behind when the presidency started piling blame on the CBN. He had no choice than to come out with that nonsense and watery reaction.

Again, ask Pandora to mention countries that are forward thinking that do currency resign like the CBN did.

People should leave social media and listen to local radio stations for a day to hear people complaining about the hardship they're experiencing because of the swap. There is no note for people to spend. Cash scarcity. The masses are forced out from engaging in the economy. Bad online banking experiences. But Pandora said this kind of things are common with countries doing currency resigns grin

It's no surprise though. Someone who threw Anambrans into poverty because he wants to save to invest in a family beer business will see no big deal about the current hardship. Masses wallowing in mediocrity is what gives him erection cheesy

The foolish coward waited for over a week.

See why South East is the pit latrine of Nigeria ?

The best they can offer is a 3rd Class Dullard

Which "Nigerian factor"? Did the banks anticipate cash scarcity from the CBN? Is it the fault of banks that cash is scarce?

Your first two paragraphs are offpoint. What relevance are they to the questions I asked?

If obi can't respect the rights of Nigerians to access their funds, how then is he better than Tinubu or the people you call thieves and looters? If obi has no empathy for the people suffering on the streets because of cash and fuel, how then is he better than those you call looters and thieves?

How does Cashless policy makes the economy better and put more money into your pocket?

Are you supporting cashless policy because it is good or because you think it will weaken Tinubu against obi?

Meanwhile, you didn't answer my questions.

Lol! I thought your so-called zionist talk was aimed at Starlinks. So zionism is also attacking Nigerian politics? I asked about your Cuban issue on the Starlinks thread and you intelligently side-stepped it. Rather resorting to invectives and vituperations. Do you want to talk about it? I ask because even though I'm 100% Nigerian and will always be, I have a last name that is found only in Cuba and the Cuban diaspora. Tell me about your Cuban ish. Only an evil person or a deluded person who thinks social media is a representation of Nigeria will support this evil......there are several millions of Nigerians who have no bank account......many more millions without smart devices.....Internet connection is poor in many parts of Nigeria yet Obi and Atiku...the 2 PDP thieves are supporting hardship cos they think it will benefit them....

I agree that smartphones aren't ubiquitous in Nigeria. But we can agree that feature phones aka (k)palasa phones have huge penetration. Are you aware that USSD banking exists and you can carry out almost any payment transaction using USSD? So why don't you encourage those without smartphones to switch to USSD?
