Due dates are not always accurate. Please keep her entertained, pamper and get busy(as much as she can collect ). She should get a bit of exercise in and use local remedies if she can.
No need to worry at all. If you turn to hospital too early, she might get unnecessary intervention.

I hear okra water, green pawpaw water or even ewedu juice can help some pregnant women. I intend to try them this time around.

Yeah, they said it is done between 12 and 14 weeks. This is our first scan as our OB clinic did not get us in until 11 weeks.
We just don't feel like doing it trusting that since she's been on pre-natal daily medication for at least 3years (since the conception of our son till now because he stopped breastfeeding the month before she took in) back to back, we should be fine.

I have heard it increases breast milk production. Some teas have fenugreek in them which you can try.
Something that helps a lot to increase milk is drinking a lot of water.

Have you tried the local birthing centres in Nigeria. I am not saying you should give birth there but they surely have ways to turn a breech baby. Using herbs and massages depending on how good they are. Hospitals can be useless sometimes , all they do is test,scan and write medication. They offer no real help with making vg delivery possible than offer cs. Solutions for everything is;
Breech baby - Cs
Labour not progressing- Cs
Everything or anything that is not in their book- Cs

As pregnant women, we have a lot to do to prep our body for labour. As Nigerians, I will say we are lucky to have many local natural herbs. Please use them. As simple as ewedu, okra, pawpaw water and much more.Ask professional local birthing centre,they exist.

I have 1 or 2 if interested. I have consulted with them during my pregnancy and they know alot.

If your bp has been unstable then 37-38 weeks is what the doctors will allow and I also know doctors don’t like to induce women with bp issues because pains from induction raises the blood pressure.
I need you to be open minded that all will be well and anything can happen between now and even tomorrow, the baby can turn at any point in time, it’s also good to be open minded to whichever option that eventually arises and that God will take perfect control. If you eventually have a c-section you will heal perfectly and it’s not as bad as some people portray it to be, bodies differ so some people heal faster and also pain management is very key post op, if you have good pain management therapy from your OB you will hardly feel any excruciating pains.
I’m wishing you all the best and also fingers crossed that everything will be okay.

First of all, relax your mind.Please don't let any unnecessary thing bother you at this stage.Listen to what your doctor will say on Monday first.Some doctors will request for a repeat scan at 38 weeks to know the final position especially for babies that turn anyhow.However,if the result is still the same please opt for CS. Don't be scared of anything my sister.Avoid anything that will raise your BP please.Safe delivery to all of us.

CS is not painful as it seems , pain threshold matters .

I have been avoiding TT injection because of what I read here but was surprised I only felt a numbing sensation for few minutes and that was all.

@Cutiemama, relax your mind and be positive towards whichever option will be presented to you taking into consideration your BP level. Happy waddling and safe delivery to us all.

Hey mama, don’t be scared. You are still 35 weeks. Baby can still turn before 37-38 week. If after then baby did not turn please listen to your doctors opinion. If he say CS then go ahead with it. All that matters is baby and mummy alive.

Firstly your baby can still turn,my first baby turned at 38 weeks, my second turned at 36 weeks. Secondly CS is not that bad, infact for some it's preferable than vagina but the fear of being cut is what we all have. There was a point in my labour that I was begging for CS and they told me it's late even though it was the pain making me say that. Pls the recovering and all will be easier for you by god's grace. Fear not. Whichever way, vagina or CS, safe delivery to you

CS is not a bad thing. The goal is mom and baby alive.

I just had my baby through elective cs yesterday at 37 weeks 1 day.

The healing process is a bit longer than vag delivery, but you'll be fine

Pregnancy can be a very critical stage of every woman's life especially if the woman has High BP
