Gemineye:Greetings Bosslady. EBSU admission policy for medical student goes like this, they don`t write post utme. They only consider jamb score/aggregates and O level result grade strickly. So since it`s a state university, they admit more of their indigens. So my candid counsel to the individual is to make sure his O level result is extremely strong and his/her jamb score should be high enough. I think they quota is 100 or there about, maybe has increased. |

It's like unilag ain't forthcoming anymore .. same thing repeat itself over and over again, making me seeing myself as a failure. seeing people younger than me in medical school while I'm still here makes me sad .This time is gonna be different indeed, I need a federal institution that doesn't requires much Olevel with low tuition fees excluding UI . Please recommend schools for me please. I'm just frustrated here in engineering 1 Like |

Lordsagna: Unical, Uniuyo(only jamb score is required ) |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by DarkPheonix: 8:56am On Feb 17, 2023 |
Lordsagna: Even UI is far easier to gain admission into to study medicine than unilag, I would advise you to choose uniport next, but you need to know you will be doing maths in the post jamb so you have to prepare hard for utme and post jamb and also uniport school fee is 150k now and their is speculation it be around 200k + by next session and I don't know if you will consider that cheap, and also like UI uniport don't do catchment. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by NL1960: 9:09am On Feb 17, 2023 |
Lordsagna: Unilag is too competitive because most people in Lagos want to go there instead of going out. So merit cutoff is always high. Which state are you from?. Unilag has all the SW states as catchment. 1 Like |

Lordsagna: I empathize with you brother. I know this feeling. I have been noticing you for a while on this forum, and you have been hitting good scores. Your only issue has been from the schools you chose. I will recommend UNIPORT to you. I would have recommended my school, but you mentioned low tuition, so UNIPORT it is. With a JAMB score of 280+, and a similar performance in post UTME, your admission is guaranteed to an extent, and just like someone highlighted above, there's maths in the post UTME, so prepare appropriately. I wish you the best of luck and the grace of God. May your heart desires be fulfilled. Amen. 1 Like |

Lordsagna:Bro, I understand the frustration that comes with this admission+medicine thing. If I'd recommend a school for you, I'd say Uniuyo since they use only Jamb results for admission and their fees are quite reasonable too. You just have to hit very hard on the jamb exam to increase your chances of getting in. Unical is a good option too, I'd have recommended uniport but their fees are on a high side now. Uniuyo and Unical would be your best bet for now. All the best, bro. 1 Like |

immanuelsize:The pal should target at least 280-300. Although ceteris paribus, everything depends on the general performance of the aspirants who enrolled at the institution and course respectively. |
