There is a lot of speculation as to the reasons for his removal.

These include allegations of alcohol abuse, especially as he had been video-taped ordering a trolley load of alcohol one Sunday morning when congregation meetings would have been in progress - see video below for evidence.

Some believe that he may be implicated in the Pennsylvania Grand Jury investigation into child sexual abuse within Jehovah’s Witnesses.

It’s possible that the Jehovah’s Witnesses organization deleted Morris in an attempt to distance themselves from any implication in this investigation.

Another claim is that he publicly disagreed with another member of the Governing Body in ecclesiastical matters relating to prophecy.

Whether any of these allegations are true remain to be seen.

Thanks for anwsering my first question. So, if the translations of the bibles eg NIV. NLT. NET. NASB. KJV. NRSV etc have errors, which bible then contains the unblemished or undiluted words of God that can be recommended? Thanks.

Then all Elders in Pennsylvania have been Subpoenaed to turn over all documents with Child abuse cases. I also heard The Governing body members were subpoenaed as well which explains why they hired the Same lawyers that represented the Catholic Church. This News came out through an EXJW Activist, Mark O Donnell who happens to be assisting the Pennsylvania Jury In the investigation.

I strongly believe it has to do with some scandal, specifically child sexual abuse. 1.Either he participated in it or helped in making sure it is covered up because he has been in support of a former Governing body member who happened to be a Pedophile doing the same thing.

The thing is Watchtower will never reveal the reason for his removal. They may come up with a Sanitised reason. Governing body members are not removed based on health problems. Every Governing body member throughout JW history, except some, remained Governing body members till death. Poor health never removed anyone of them as all of them in their old age had health problems too. They stayed Governing body members till death. It is a Permanent position till death. The only Governing body members who were removed like Anthony Morris were Ray Franz who first resigned and was later disfellowshipped because he associated with a Dissociated JW. 2. The other ones removed were Homosexuals and Pedophiles /Rapists! You will be removed if there are scandals around you which will make them look bad and if you don't have much clout or power as a Governing body member since not all Governing body members are equal. If you look at the announcement in the JW website, it was slyly placed somewhere in the site that will need you to navigate and not on the Homepage,almost as if they know the average JW rarely reads that section. The announcement is worded the same way they are announcing a disfellowshipped person. There were no words to appreciate his service or commend him if really he didn't do anything wrong or resigned himself. They are also beginning to remove his pics in the FAQ section about the Governing body. In the new pic, they posted only 7 Men who look nothing like the present Governing body members. This is what they do when JWs are disfellowshipped. If a disfellowshipped JW featured in a video or picture, the pics or videos are removed. How many Governing body members are there now? They brought 2 new Governing body members which shows that there might likely be another removal.

3 .All of these above shows some drama is going on behind the scenes which they are hiding. Some damage control. Watchtower is trying to protect itself. But the truth will eventually come out from PIMO Bethelites to the EXJW community.
