I am a bit confused because I applied for SOWP or is it the same thing as International Mobility program.

SOWP and Visit visa made in December 3, 2022

Upfront medical in November 28 and was updated January 26 for the child and February 9 for the adult

Eligibility and PPR on 27 Feb.

Student's old and new study permit and visa
Spouse biz account MBS with 2.5m
Student acct statement with about 5300CAD
Student full time job offer with 3 months payslip
Pictures of wedding and other family pictures.
Letter of invitation from student
SOP made by the spouse

I left Nigeria August 18, 2022, but I didn't apply for my family because my daughter's passport was not out yet, so I decided to finish 1st semester because submitting their application. On February 14, 2023 - the day my daughter turned 1, I sent a very emotional mail to all IRCC emails I know and also raised a webform Nairobi, Lagos and Abuja. Some responded with normal generic mail. 3 days ago I got a personalized email from IRCC saying that my application is still within the processing time and encouraged me to keep checking the processing time - which is 52 weeks, so I thought they are not working on the application and booked a ticket to Naija for next week. Seeing PPR this morning is still a surprise.

I thank Jehovah God everything worked out well.

Good morning my people, I applied for SOWP for my hubby and study for my 2 kids. but after the submission, the application did not generate an application number. I actually use my own profile to apply for them.

Please Gurus in the house I greatly need your help, regarding my Sowp application I was asked for proof of relationship with my spouse in terms of pictures,proof of communication,marriage certificate etc
The issue now is all documents and information are ready but how do we Name each file i.e place pictures in group(pre and post marriage ) and name them,also how do we compress the file too, because the pictures are really taking large space

As a family , please if you can, apply together. The wait and uncertainty can be depressing and fustrating.

The only good thing is that you tend to forget all, once you see that PPR.

For the photos, you can use an android photo merging App to collate the pictures and then scribble on top or below each photo so that whoever is zooming in to view the photos will be able to see the description added. For example, see the attached photo I added below.

For compression, after you're done compiling everything, stilll use your android phone to do the compression. You'll have to combine a number of compressing methods to get the quality and size you want. Some of the Apps I recommend are "Xodo PDF Reader and Editor" and "PDF Utils: Merge, Split, Edit." If you use Xodo to compress, Open the document, click on the three dots menu on the top right, click Save a Copy, Reduc file, Smaller file, Advanced, change if greater than 225 DPI to 90, change the second one to 75. Then save.
