I don't think soo, they are all stupid government over there, what was the need of changing the money then and suffering many citizens for them to now say it's a legal tender till December, shame to our silly government.

And we are told the people voted for the stupid government to continue.

I beg to differ. The policy meant it's aim. It was originally for political purpose by the ruling class and they succeeded. The more you look, the less you see in Nigeria.

Nobody wants to collect money he would have problem spending. Also, the volume of old money is circulation is virtually gone. The very few ones are in the hands of politicia They can exchange it with the new notes as nobody would want to collect it. You won't because you don't want to stress yourself when you spend it.

The implication of this is simple: The old notes will co-exist with the new notes till December 2023. The old notes are virtually not in circulation and the CBN won't push them back, so the currency that is available for transaction are the new notes.
I wonder why some people like you have this mistaken belief that some of our politicians have bulk of old money kept somewhere. This is boderline absurd. Look, the typical Nigerian elite (politician or not) see the Naira as tissue paper. Their money is almost always in USD (or any other valuable currency), that's if it's cash, mostly it's in their bank accounts.

If Liverpool no score, they will still lose

The only thing that can save Liverpool now is Cynthia okeke and INEC

You genuinely belive this so-called proccess? You think this whole thing wasn't carefully designed to serve a purpose? Spoiler: it has.

That's not in dispute - I'm saying now that the purpose has been served, we will gradually return to using the old notes step by step.

Hmm, that means Nigerians don't know how our government works.

Supreme Court has the final say, not the executive branch

Anything currency is on Exclusive list

The president and his office has the most and final say

I want to know if people are now using the old naira notes, supreme court gave a judgement last week that the old N200, N500 and N1000 naira notes remain legal tender till December.

CBN and banks must comply with the judgement

the question should be directed to the banks not individuals

The Nigerians Bankers are the biggest fraudsters in the world, CBN inclusive .

They have stolen from me from every transaction since the commencement of the policy , you transfer 500 for salt, they take commission, you transfer 3000 for chicken they take commission, you buy airtime, they take commission, why not give my money so I can spend it without paying to spend it? Do you know how much the banks are making now?

Despite having quack apps that fails most of the time.

Emefiele is a criminal, he should be jailed !

How do kids eat in break time in school without cash?

How do you give children money for transport to school everyday?

And this clueless government and party still want to imposed themselves on us for another 8 years

The same supreme stupid court should go and print more old naira notes.

Very soon ,supreme court will declare that the current interest rate limit is illegal, unconstitutional, against human rights to decent living.

They have also declared Cash withdrawal limit as illegal and unconstitutional.

Is the Cash withdrawal limit in the interest of the society ,against criminality or not?

Supreme stupid court setting its own DEADLINE for the implementation of a monetary policy, an exclusive preserve of the CBN.

Those who are consequentially kidnaped for physical cash ransom, should approach the supreme stupid court for help undecided

Rubbish!

Pained mofo typing all sorts of shit against the Apex court of the country. Most of you Obi supporters are clowns and local breeds. The judgement would be respected and complied by CBN and Buhari. You and your likes will be put to total shame.

That is their own biz.

All I know is that Peter Obi will reclaim his mandate.

He won with great margin in Lagos, Imo, Rivers, Plateau, Edo, Taraba.
Tinubu was heavily defeated in Lagos, Abuja, Osun , Kaduna, Katsina, Nasarawa, Kano etc these were supposed to be his strong holds. So i wonder where he won these election from?

You are free to announce Obi is the winner, do your need a mic ?

FG and our leaders don't obey the court of law...

How do you think a common man will also obey it?

The law is almost useless in this nation.

The current president is not aware of anything, the incoming president the people are still unaware of.

No, nobody is using the old naira notes.

Unless it's 200naira
on this only the Cbn and the president have the final say, just like going to court to stop election, only Inec and the president have the final say, until buhari speaks the situation remains the same
