Happy weekend.... Please I have a question.

Are the TMA questions universal for all students taking a particular course or different random sets of questions for all students?
Enskynelson:

You can apply for MBA provided you don't have less that 2.2. That set date most likely won't be feasible as dropping of courses which is supposed to be like 2 weeks before close of registration is yet to commence. If you have your registration fee (about 125k) for the semester, you can apply and register in a week provided you can apply for your transcripts from your Alma mater and present evidence.

Randomized sometimes. Same sometimes. This means u could have similar questions in some courses while u may not in some courses.

TMA SUBMISSION ISSUES

Hello students,

If you are having trouble submitting your TMAs, here are some possible issues you might encounter and ways to solve them:

1. Invalid details: This might happen if you are a new student and your registration has not been completed yet, or if the school has not uploaded your details into the eLearning database. If you face this issue, try logging in with your matric as the password (lowercase e.g nou123456789) and keep trying until the school uploads your details.

2. No course found: This can occur if you registered for your course 1-2 weeks before the TMA commences. If you encounter this error, keep trying as your courses will be available soon.

3. No questions: If you see this error, it means that the school has not yet uploaded questions for that course. Keep checking for updates.

If you encounter any other errors that are not mentioned above, please feel free to drop your messages on this platform or text me on Whatsapp.

Thank you.

Academic Calendar Changes.

We would like to bring to your attention some important updates regarding changes to the academic calendar. Please take note of the following information:

✅ Admission, course, and exam registration deadlines have been extended until Sunday, April 16th, 2023, at 11:59 pm. This means that individuals who are interested in obtaining NOUN forms may still do so and complete their registration before the closing date of April 16th, 2023.

✅ Furthermore, we would like to inform all new students that the Orientation and Matriculation ceremony has been rescheduled to April 17th and 18th, 2023.

✅ Regarding the Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs), please note that none of the TMAs would close until the TMA3 closing date. With this extension, TMAs will be open until April 16th and beyond.

We understand that these changes may cause some concern, but we would like to assure you that there is no pressure. Please proceed steadily.

Thank you.

Tips About Distance Learning

It will require more self –discipline and responsibility you as you will study at your own pace.

Excellent time management skill will be needed to keep up with the pace of work.

Study every day because it enables you to spread your work out over a period of time than to attempt to cover too much within a short space time.

Set realistic goals for daily studies and keep to them.
Develop a weekly study plan. Review your work at the end of each week and modify your plan accordingly.

Use a calendar/diary to plan as much as possible.

Pls, who can explain how to do portal analysis of all courses as a final year student in order to graduate?
Some of the courses in my outstanding courses on support.nou.edu.ng are courses I have done before and it's still showing as outstanding courses.

Going through my nouonline.net portal level by level, I can see both courses I've already done and some I missed at 100L & 200L. I'm confused how it happened especially the ones I missed maybe they were new courses added while I paused my studies years back.

If someone has already passed a particular level e.g 300L and they add new courses to 100/200L, is it compulsory to take those newly added courses before you one can graduate?

Go to support.nou.edu.ng
Login and download your result. You will find outstanding courses listed there. Check them to know what you are left with. Secondly, if you have registered this semester, try to REGISTER COURSES from 100L first semester to your current level to know if you have anything left behind. Compare what u have there with what is in the result you downloaded. Prior knowledge of change in course codes is desired for effective analysis. For instance FMS207 is the same is BUS207. If you have done FMS207, you may still see BUS207 listed as outstanding. Such outstanding should not be considered as you have done and passed the same course with different code.
