I need a help.

Last week I outbounded a name that I just registered and I got this reply from one of the end user

"It is perfect. I could offer $5000. Than you for reaching out"

Initially, my intention was to flip this domain for around $400-500 but after his reply I was confused. It's a two word domain.

I didn't set a BIN before so after his reply I set a BIN of $5000 then I messaged him that he can proceed to aquire the domain but since then he hasn't reply. I don't track my mail to know whether he read the reply.

Could it be that he's playing as my mind is telling me or he's really interested in the domain. I received the norms as reply too "not interested" "you can keep it" and those annoying reply.

Bosses in the house how do I go about this? Because I want to send another mail to him tomorrow before reoutbound the name again.

I suspect he is being sarcastic but there is no harm in trying. I guess this is an EMD

Space out your followup, weeks apart

Though you can't tell us the name, we would have known from ur domain and his domain if he is joking.

Another thing you can do, research about the company and see what they valuation is, what are they worth, what is the prince range of the services they offer and finally the position of this person who made the offer

There might be a way, don't know if it's possible.

I recieve/send mails from my custom mail from Gmail.

So I can send mails thru streak ether with my custom mail or Gmail.

See if you can add another Gmail account to your existing Gmail. If you can then, streak can work for both

i must confess that selling domains is not a very easy task at all. Out of these sales and some few others that sold, i still have very many that did not sell. But the good thing is that i try to renew almost all my names. some of these domains sold through outbound on Dan while some sold on afternic.

Almost all my names go through outbound. I do this not for immediate sale but also to create awareness that such name exist. I send first mail and then second. I do not reduce my price which is always 988 or 1288. I set minimum offer on Dan which is 499, this way, i dont get low ball offers except few that brings lesser offer through mail. [ if you are just starting, this might not work for you.]

I usually dont buy much domains i dont wish to renew. This helps me not to be in a haste to sell. Large portfolio size plays a role too. Semi auto[ not full auto] email collection is very important too. If you dont collect emails right, you might have a hard time selling.

Budget is important. If you are on a small budget, the result is also small. Almost all names are from Ed.

With my portfolio size which is fast approaching 2k , i get passive sales as well. I send first mails on Mondays, follow up which is the final mail on Thursdays.

Great open rate is necessary. i use mailtrack.io for each of my about 10 gmails for outbound. Send mail on monday and by thursady the mail has rested and ready for the second mail. E mails needs to rest for a great open rate.

A daytime job will help when sales run far. one month after outbound of a domain without its sale, i most times increase its price.

These are few things i do that works for ME. It might differ from what works for others.

Sales haven't been flowing well in recent months. I haven't sold a single Geo in like 4-5 months despite doing outbound marketing as usual.

And I still wonder how people get sales from YP leads. They haven't impressed in all the years I have been working with them as a last resort of sort.

1. Do you send the second email in the same email thread as the first (follow-up) or as a fresh email?

2. Given that you set minimum offer as 499, what is the typical price you'd counter with if you received that offer amount for a domain listed for 988 or 1288?

Got this later this evening from one of my old students in a whatsapp training. He bought some domains after the course and when the fast sale couldn't come, he quickly lost interest. Domaining most times requires patience and more investing. Not a get rich quick scheme though at times it happens but it's a process. Check the screenshot below.

But no worries in this one, he didn't lose the sale as the domain is still restorable by paying a higher restoration fee of $89 dollars. Note that no knowledge is a waste. It's all about consistency and persistency before the hits starts coming either big or small.

1, as fresh with same email address. This meks d work easy.it works very well.

2, Depending on the person or company that made the offer, I add 100, 200 etc on the offer.
