harkintem:Thank you. One question please. If you are to submit your passport directly to the Abuja office and also pick up, do you still need to pay the #9410 fee? |

abbey1986:Use a different browser such as opera mini nd make sure it’s up to date. Then for your adobe reader check if it’s up to date u might have to do a subscription to enable it I had to do that during my time. But I didn’t have this ur issue tho If you can show what the screen says or look like, might be able to help better |

McChizzy:Most times u don’t need it. But check ur school requirements, they have a list of exempted countries from showing proof of English proficiency which in most cases Nigeria is among. |

How long does it take to get a feedback from IRCC after submitting medical reports? IOM summited my medical report since on the 6th March and I’ve not gotten an update from them since |

Legitmenaija:If you are to submit at Abuja and you did your biometrics at Lagos then you have to pay for transmissions and one way delivery of your passport. They don’t allow pickup of passport for now |

Regarding the purpose of the visit, focus on the study plan – being a bonafide student, reasonableness as pertains to career advancement. Is the program related to her present occupation? What are her plans after her studies? Establish the program's relevance to your wife’s current and future career path. Review both bank statements for large deposits. A VO can refuse an application for insufficient funds if there is a large deposit with no reasonable explanations and the account's history is inconsistent with such a deposit. Since the principal’s application was refused, they cannot approve the accompanying dependant’s application. Order a gcms note to get the exact reasons for this refusal so you can address them. You must enter Canada with the same DLI used in your application. A new study permit is required if you intend to receive your study permit with a new DLI. You can change DLI immediately after receiving your study permit by notifying IRCC using the GCkey account. But you cannot stay in Canada for more than 150 days without studying. Menaqiss1: |

If you completed your biometrics in Lagos, ITs not a MUST you submit there. Submitting there will give you the benefit just walking in and submitting without having to pay some fees like processing fee, SMS fee and courier fee. But if you submitted to VFS, Abuja, you will be required to pay all the aforementioned fees. Thats just the basic difference i think they have. Others can help clarify this more Welsh2np: |

Yes, you can apply as a family with your parents, but the VO will assess each application separately. Therefore, applying as a family will not draw special attention to their application. So, submit a strong application for them sunshine087: |

Hello everyone, please help... my passport expires in September.... i have started the process of getting a new one - capturing is next week. However, i got PPR on the 14th and i am not sure the new passport will be ready within 30 days. Can i go ahead and submit my old passport for the visa as i actually plan to travel latest by end of August? Or should i wait for the new passport and plead with IRCC for an extension? |
