There's nothing like tribalism in yorubaland. We're accommodating and welcoming and that's why Yorubaland is developing. It was tinubu who came and changed the status quo by breeding thuggery. Was it Pa Awolowo who wasn't accommodating or who? How many thugs did Pa Awo breed? When tinubu talks, just analyse his words. You'd realise how stinking it is. No good man or leader talks the way he does, just like a drunk man. Is it normal for people to snatch ballot bixes and attack people openly just because they want to end bad governance?

It's not today opposition has been winning in Lagos and Yorubaland? Heaven didn't fall when it happened. Even if another candidate rises tomorrow to contest, urchins will still complain. Jimmy Agbaje was even called an igbo agenda. PDP, an opposition had won Lagos before and it won't be the last for an opposition. All tribes represented here jointly made it happen. Amazingly, most of those preaching tribal messages are among the poorest of the poor. They're badly hit by the policies of bad governance. This is just the beginning. Things can always get better with better people occupying our political space. No more free votes.

By the time Tinubu's empire ends, his supporters will be put where they belong. The end to his empire has just started as you can see. Nothing lasts forever.
no wonder ogun state that is closer to lagos is now dubai of Africa not to talk of osun and ekiti

A country that can not win election through the ballot paper is doomed. Stop this crap and cheap hatred you're propagating? If you want to win election with landslide victory, why employ thugs?

Some people still dont get this. Maybe because they are very new to Nigeria politics or first time voters.

During the Presidential campaign. The candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi exploit and explore our diversity, he capitalise on our religious differences in particular to instigate hate among the the two major religion we have in Nigeria. CAN, PFN turned themselves into a political group. Especially General overseers, they turned the altar into a political stage to preach politics and propagate hate against Muslim candidate.

Peter Obi's victory in Lagos during the presidential election wasn't just from the igbos but from the brain clouded, emotional religious sentimental yoruba christians who were sold with the Jihad bullcraps. After the victory, instead of building more bridges with the people that voted against Obi. The southe@sterners, feeling pompous and inflated came with the campaign of 'taking over lagos' . .. They ran twitter spaces, host interviews aided by their propaganda media house, AriseTV, scribbles and tweets were churned out about how they will sack all the obas and takeover the whole place.

How can you expect the yorubas who sided with you against their tribesman, Tinubu in the presidential election to feel about it? Happy that you want to takeover their ancestral land and mock them with it in return, just like you use the word; 'Afonja ' consistently to make mockery of our loss in Ilorin.

Sanwo Olu victory is not coming as a result of tribalism. The yorubas fought together as one again, and they won. Different yorubas from different religion, political parties, and across all board left our differences asides at the corner, came together to 'rescue ourselves'

At first it was cruise, then it became aggressive, now it is uncontrollable.. Cant even be tamed nor can they reason well. It is all noise, zero thinking and strategy. The Obidient movement is turning out to be a curse to Peter Obi and the hardworking innocent igbos who committed no crime but paying for the sins of the headless mob.

Long write up but we know the candidates that took advantage of religion and tribe, you dont need up to a paragraph to note that.

I saw dunamis guy ranting the other day..I felt sorry for him. He was hopping his daddy above him would join him. But boy he did not know what was playing. power is coming home who is the Yoruba man that dares speak out on basis of merit. Civil war did not end in the 60s. It on going.

Fayose & Reno's views are of no consequence in Lagos. Not in the past, Not now, not in the Presidential. Not in the future.

I always say Yoruba loosing Ilorin is a monarchial phenomenon, it does not even affect the political arrangements of Kwara state which is dominated by the Yorubas.

Ilorin didn't even go down as a battle Yorubas collectively fought rather it is a battle of a rebelled Generallismo "Afonja" who choose to secede from the Oyo empire and embraced the Fulanis in a bid to expand his empire, gain more metaphysical powers and battle ready fighters which later backfired.

And I must say the Yorubas have woke up and and you should not expect that level play ground Ibos were giving in Lagos. They are boiling.

Obi and the church started it all because of their hate for Ashiwaju and APC. We thought the hatred will stop but instead the Igbos in Lagos quickly embrace GRV against a working governor Sanwo Olu. Do you expect us to fold our arms while the Igbos decide who rule us on our land. Yorubas don't decide who rule them in the East so Igbos have no right to involve in our politics in SW. Lagos is APC as Rivers is PDP.

All these politically correct Yorubas are our major problem. Tribalism has been the fabric of our society for long and when it’s done in other regions outside the south west it’s okay but once the Yorubas decides to self preserve everyone shouts tribalism.

Nigerians are just hypocrites who shout injustice only when they are at the receiving end.

We are tired of the sw being used as a testing ground for inclusion and diversity while other regions self preserve and do their bullshit

You are just a bigot and anti Igbo. People that voted for Obi are brainwashed but the Igbos that voted for Tinibu are not. Obi playing religious card... But someone that flied a Muslim /Muslim ticket is not banking on religious sentiment? Someone that employed fake bishops who were mechanics, plumbers etc is not playing religious game.
Come to think of it, is it just for a country like Nigeria, ninth most dangerous place in the whole world to be a Christian, be flying Muslim /Muslim ticket? The VP Shettima is the one that hid Kabiru Sokoto the terrorist that bombed St Francis Catholic Church Madala on 25th December 2011 in his own house at Boronu state house Abuja.
Who then is playing religious card?

APCnaPDP:
Yorubas have shown time and time again how tribalistic they are. The Ibos have also shown time and time again how dumb they are for abandoning their region to rot while they roam around the country looking for money.
Around the world not country alone
