Yorubas are the least tribal folks in Nigeria, myself inclusive..

While I was still based in Lagos, I saw other tribes from Hausa and Igbo lens till I started moving out to see that even North has more tribes than South. The Igbos are just a tiny fraction of ethnicities in Nigeria and they make the loudest noise and are largely divisive.

While growing up, we celebrated ileya and Christmas alike in South West.. most Yoruba homes have Christians and Muslims as mothers, fathers, siblings, friends, cousins etc. without issues and we see ourselves as one from Lagos (Eko), Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti Kwara to the Yorubas carved into Kogi and Niger states. It's Igbos that practice segregation and division in their lands.

I was shocked at a time when Igbos started calling Sanwo Olu land grabber; a Yoruba with full rights in Yorubaland being reffered to as land grabber by aliens from far away lands.. you sef check am, E make sense??
