Kindly show me the new directive that stated that they won't follow through with the electronic transmission of results...

Because even from the first paragraph of the regulation and directives from INEC they made it clear that the directive is in full force and can only be ineffective when there is a new directive or a revision to the regulation.

Now show me the revised directive that supercedes this directive in your screenshot or keep your fingers shut.

Besides, I don't have interest with the governorship elections because due process was taken as there where new directive to that effect.

Let me ask you a question. Have you actually read the guideline?

If you've not, please read paragraphs 53, 54, and 55. The presidential results were collated as prescribed by the guidelines chikena ๐Ÿ˜‚

my dear INEC guidelines are laws

They are not
They only aid the Law....in this case the electoral act. Guidelines dont need to go through the parliament and updating it dont also need parliamentary approval....so they are not Laws but administrative guidelines.

INEC is at discretion on what mode to use to transmit election results. The same law that prescribes electronic transmission also gives INEC the leverage to use any means it deem fit.
INEC defence as to why it announced result before fully uploading the polling units result on irev is simply that if it chose to wait until ALL polling units are uploaded it wont be able to announce the result within stipulated 7days after election.

I have read it and am saying they prescribed two layers of collation which was electronic collation with manual collation.

Why didn't they follow through with it according to the regulation and directives?

That's super wrong

Go & report Eye Neck to Supreme Court.

Mumu Peter Obi, Pat Utomi really committed a great evil by deceiving the idiot, not knowing he was been used to work for Bola Tinubu.

I'm telling you what the law that I've read and actually practice is and you're quoting what you got from Twitter for me.

The INEC chairman has the power to overrule or change the guidelines . It's his inherent power.

Let me give you a practical example. Paragraph 2 of the INEC guidelines states that Governorship elections must be conducted two weeks after Presidential Elections, when INEC couldn't reconfigure the BVAS before time, they gave a directive that it should be postponed.

They have the right to shut down the Portal because of millions of cyber attacks they claimed happened during presidential election and proceed with the best mode of collation as long as the electoral act does not specify.

An opposing directive that comes from INEC invalidates the content of the guideline as long as the Electoral Act is silent.

See screenshot from INEC guidelines about the date of conducting Governorship Elections.
Yes. It's the same way the CBN can change currency with the approval from the president.

However they have to give reasonable notice to any changes to the guidelines. He can't just decide to employ Iya akara to help him transmit the votes in the middle of the election because of cyber attacks.

He also has to prove the millions of cyber attacks in court. Those attacks are logged of which tech experts are already laughing at the fallacy of such statements.

The normal thing to do when an election is being comprised is to suspend the election. This is what the electoral act recommends.

Electoral act also recommends that the INEC chairman ensures that the constituon is followed when declaring a winner. 133, 134 and 179 were mention. Not 299.

The INEC chairman will also explain where he got his own interpretation from ๐Ÿ˜†

Yes @ the discretion of the INEC Oga.

Again you have admitted the supreme powers by saying that Electoral act also recommends that the INEC chairman ensures that the constituon is followed when declaring a winner.

Facts my love. No trash. INEC chairman admitting that hackers sent millions of attack already cast more aspersions to the entire process.

Also check out the meaning of the word "Prescribed".
It's not exactly something you change at a whim or as you like. Before you change a prescription you call for review.

Ah the technical term used in the electoral act is "Prescribed". Lol you can't change at random. You'll inform everyone that this is what you want to do like they did with publications about the BVAS. Then implement. if you encounter difficulties you stop the process and call for a review even if brief.

If INEC has powers to change at a whim that puts them above the President because not even the president can do that. ๐Ÿคญ

APC did not rig the election, INEC on its own decided to rig the election in favor of Bola Tinubu according to Peter Obi?
