We also need 2 more moderators that would immediately delete any thread that is ethnically bigoted in nature. These posts tend to be opened after 12 midnight Nigerian time. They should also be given a 10 year ban if these trolls create new threads that incite ethnic violence.

I must commend Mynd44 though for detecting and closing a thread that was created to spread an ethnically inciting and doctored video by a poster here in the politics section in the weeks [February 2023] leading right up to the elections. Mynd closed the thread and warned the guys who were from the Labor party and trolling to desist from spreading FALSEHOOD against Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. The video was doctored to make it seem that Tinubu was against the Northerners in Lagos state back in the day when he was the Governor.

Such insidious posters should get a life ban or a 10-year ban. The only thing is that with free throwaway emails, they have created to register multiple NL accounts and new NL accounts have to be vetted for 48 hours before approval.

The next step will be to ban any one that verbally abuses or uses derogatory words on the female gender. We birth. We give lives. We increase humanity. We make and keep homes. So it's very unfair to read some unprintable names they call us, only here in Nairaland! It might look simple, but it's a terrible offense against the female gender and humanity itself.

Some of us are low-keyed business tycoons, some are captains of industries, Managing Directors, Chief Executive Officers. Some are doctors, lawyers/barristers, Engineers, to mention but a few. Some of us are here just for the fun of it, and not because we're jobless.

It hurts me as a woman to see some Nairaland boys (they're not men irrespective of their age, because men are matured and don't usually resort to any kind of violence when handling the female gender), raining abuses on the women folks. Calling us whores and every negative word they can think of.

Well Seun you're right, this is a long overdue steps. It's good you ban them, they will learn their lessons and not throw stones at other ethnic groups anymore.
