It should fly as long as you explain lump sum in the account with proper documents to back up your claims. What is required is 4 months statement (minimum) as stated on ircc website, by the time you will submit your application it should be up to 4 months since you started using the account in January.

Good afternoon. I am new here and trying to apply for student visa. I have a conditional offer from Sheridan College. The condition is that I submit official copies of my uni transcript. How do I prove that I can fulfil the condition (as stated in the guide on their site).

also, I have not seen a comprehensive list of documents to have prepared for visa application. I want to list out some documents, can you please highlight the documents needed that are not on the list and also the document not needed that are on the list.
Passport (with travel history if applicable)
letter of acceptance
tuition payment receipt (if applicable)
The forms required as stated by the ircc site
statement of intent
proof of funds (bank statement, business registration, proof of ownership of property, pictures of property)
affidavit of support
Gift certificate (cause there's a lump sum in my account)
police certificate

Thank you for your assistance.

Good day to you all.
Pls which provinces has lowest tuition fees in Canada?
I recently got an admission to Fanshawe for an Undergraduate course for Jan2024 but my sponsor said the tuition fee is much…she told me to look for budget under 10-15kcad…,now Fanshawe is asking for 8300cad as tuition deposit but she said it’s too much.
Note: she is in Ontario
I’m just unhappy at the moment….

So if I can find low tuition in other provinces, maybe it can be of help….thank you.

See the bolded part, what do you mean UOttawa is not eligible for PGWP? lol, that's not true!

Hello,
I am new here and have thoroughly reviewed almost all available information. I am about to embark on my study process and have a few questions regarding my academic pursuits. Specifically, I am currently pursuing a master's program with Noun and am unsure whether it would be advisable to proceed with a PhD or continue with another master's program. Additionally, my field of study is Communication Management and after conducting some research, I have discovered that McMaster only offers it as a part-time program, Seneca exclusively offers an online program, and the University of Ottawa is the only university that offers a full-time program, however, they are not eligible for PGWP. My question is, if I choose McMaster, would the part-time status of the program affect my visa processing? Alternatively, if I opt UOttawa what are my chances of applying for PGWP after completion of study.
Thank you

Good afternoon everyone.

Thanks for all the insights on page 1. It's been helpful so far. I need help with a few questions, please. I'm about to embark on this journey for my younger brother and I need some guidance.
For some background, my brother studied Computer Science, got a 2:2. He also has an Advanced Diploma in Biz Admin but he owns a shoes and leather products business. He is planning to study a course in Managemenet or something else business related. Can a diploma or graduate certificate fly if we don't include his Advanced Diploma qualification?

If and when he gets admission from a school in Canada, would it be possible for me to provide my bank statements as proof that I will be bearing his living costs here in Canada? I live here in Canada and I am a citizen. Would it raise a red flag if I provide my bank statements showing funds in support of his application? My dad and I will be jointly funding his tuition fees but we are not sure if all these would fly. My brother currently owns his own business but he doesn't have enough funds for funding the process. The expectation is that we would seek for the admission at a college close to my house, he will stay with me and I would bear his living costs. Also, I see that a lot of people here are processing their visas themselves and have been successful. I'm going this route too and I'm hoping that I can do it too without needing an agent or consultant.

Thank you in anticipation of your responses.

Hello guys!

I have a question concerning student visa application

An agent helped me with the application early 2022, got a biometrics date but i abandoned the application and didn’t go for the biometrics.
Reasons being that
1)my passport then was about to expire in 4 months
2)i wasn’t confident with the documents submitted, I didn’t even know them cause the agent didn’t make them known to me.

My question now is that i want to start a fresh application myself or probably use a reliable agent.
will the old application i abandoned have an impact on the new one?

Hello Gurus,

Please I need your genuine advice and opinion on this. I initially made payment to an institution in the UK, but I couldn’t make it to the UK and my money was refunded to my account because the school asked me if I was refused visa before and I told them Yes I was refused Uk visiting visa back in 2017, that was the reason I didn’t apply for the UK visa anymore.

I didn’t apply for UK visa and the school refunded my tuition deposit of 8,000pounds to my naira account which came in as lump sum 4,130,0000. Now I want to submit my application for Canada. I already explained in my SOP that the lump sum was a returned fund from the school in initially applied to in the UK.

My question now is. Is it advisable to attach the telex copy of the initial debit to the school in my document or I should ignore. I don’t want to do anything that will implicate me.

Kindly note I also declare in my Canada application my previous visa denial as well.

Waiting for your replies

Thanks

NO! Abandoned application not submitted should not affect you (IRCC will discard it within 60 days of inactivity- and so no review). N.B.- that's if it was truly abandoned and not submitted to IRCC.

Not mandatory to register before you get to Winnipeg. But if you want to, you can do that on your "Aurora" account (just Google search the full steps)

Whatever makes your application stronger! do it! However, I would also assume that the refund came with a bank narration, which should come in handy for your defence. For the avoidance of doubt, please spell every detail out and evidence it.

Good evening, my cousin is uploading his documents required for his visa and his admission letter came with a 4 page document, he wants to remove the 3 pages and upload the document page which actually contains the admission letter. The 3 others pages have the fees and others. Is it ok if he splits the document and only upload the page which has the admission letter. Page 1 has the admission letter,2-4 has fees and the address. He is upload them to the IRCC portal.
Thanks
