Guys.. My friend just got a fully funded MSc program in florida.

Would the scholarship make his visa approval 90 percent sure??

Because he's still struggling to raise money for sevice fee and visa fee and I'm looking to help him.

Those who got fully sponsorship.. What's your experience??
congratulations to your friend. He has higher chances of getting visa. He should prove his home-tie.

Btw, is it Florida state university or university of South Florida?

I really don't know why the second to last paragraph got me having mixed feelings. Have things gotten this bad that we have to celebrate in this manner to go and study in another man's land and having to pay for it at the same time. Smh

I got this message when I tried scheduling USA F1 F2 visa appointment in Lagos "Your request to schedule an appointment has been received and will be reviewed. You will receive an email once your request is approved"

Is this a normal occurrence? if not what can be done?

Are there any WhatsApp groups where one can keep track of when interview dates are available? Thanks

Got an offer letter from the department but no official admission letter yet for the past one week. Who should I write to; the professor that accepted me or the graduate program director or the graduate school?

Congratulations man! Happy for you.

Sometimes departmental decisions and graduate school offer takes a while, you can shoot a mail to the graduate school to help expedite the process. Explain to them that you're an international student and you'll need your admission offer on time to enable you process your F1 visa.

Hello everyone
Can a company offer four years study leave to someone who has worked with them for just 3 months?

Need help !
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by Jahard: 12:06am On Apr 21, 2023
This isn’t possible
Companies put you on probation for 3-6 months before you’re even confirmed. For a study leave, 3 years or more

I think you can. You might not even have the opportunity to show them the statements. The VOs really don’t like looking at documents, so most times they don’t ask. Just ensure your story is convincing enough and that you can defend it properly.

I learnt the designing work I'm doing on the company but I was fully recruited as a worker on January. I have gotten my study leave letter already but I don't know if that'll be a problem for me coz I want to go with the letter on my interview day. The vo might think it's not possible but I've been with the company for A year plus
