GTCO opened @22.05 and sighted @22.70....
STERLING sighted @1.70!! Pastor Vee hope you were able to pick below 1.50....
NB ....Quite a lot of attention.....

ACCESS....Much volume in crossings and trading.......over 117M as at now..... E suppose don reach 11 but those guys are suppressing the share price, guess they won't allow it move until they're done loading.......128M .....134M....
* These are the kind of activities SEC needs to oversee and look into.....the offer did not exceed 20M since.marlet opens, yet they were crossing it at their preferred junction*

I think it is a South African Stockbroking firm with offices all over major cities in Africa.

It was not a mistake. Was the same last year. It's distributed from profits made when they enjoyed pioneer status from the FG. That is a period the government grants tax holidays to qualifying companies that apply. It's for a given period, as an incentive or for protection. Profits made during the period are not subject to tax.

PS: In the announcement, it's stated to be payable from the Pioneer Reserve.

You are very correct!

But folks should bear in mind that the coys tax holiday may have ended in the last financial year. (ref: 2022 FYE)
So unless there's an extension by the authorities, expect their interim and FY, 2023 dividend to be taxed accordingly.

Now that part in italics will put slight pressure on WAPCO's expense line, but my extensive analysis shows that it could not strain overall earnings delivery neither will it pose any drawback to current growth trajectory. (FY, 2023 projection in view)

WAPCO is still very much undervalued at CMP.
Rating retained at; BUY/OUTPERFORM.

CAVEAT: NOT an investment advice. ...due diligence still applies as always.

Yes please. They bought/ took over from sky stockbrokers.
Nothing like network issues. You can buy or sell your shares whenever and anyhow you want it by yourself without any wahala.

So far so good, no issues. I haven't taken time to calculate their charges.

Well done CP. Good job you are doing.
The search for the year has started, let us know those stocks you are looking at.
I have taken a look at some of the ones you've mentioned but after q1 results I have my reservation with some of them.

Yet another OFF MARKET deal in TRANSCORP.

A total of 131,897,297 units of TRANSNATIONAL CORPORATION PLC were done as OFF MARKET trade today May 2, 2023 at N3.12 in one deal.

The transaction was a negotiated deal with UNITED CAPITAL SECURITIES LIMITED as BUYER and APT SECURITIES & FUNDS LTD as SELLER.

shocked cool

It is well

Thanks for this information. I looked at todays stock market results and saw that Transcorp only traded 2,356,409 units. So these off market trades are not reflected in the days trading results. Please where can one find off market trading results ?

In the last 6-9 years, Okomu Oil (a big agro company) and similar firms have outperformed most sectors, but telecoms, in the exchange. Yes, if you picked Okomu or Presco as your investment a couple of years ago, your Salah or Christmas will be looking bigger now. Indeed, they have returned solid numbers, superior to most banks.

But they’re yet to unlock core latent opportunities in the agro-processing category. We think their own “fintech” moment will happen just as fintech, superimposed on banks, delivered alpha. The “fintechs” of the agro-sector look promising. At Tekedia Capital, we’re closing on one, and we hope to expand our antenna to pick the signals out of those domains. #agroWealth is real.

Sterlnbank has consistently traded within a narrow range of 1.44 to 1.62 naira since 2021, offering a skilled trader/gigoist a 10% return on a three-month holding time on d average.

Although d latest financials values it at 2.7, I believe it is unlikely to reach that level unless it significantly increases its dividend.

However, I anticipate that it will continue to trade within the same range, providing a straightforward 10% return for the bold trader.

About 2% only for round trip, if u check the chart well u see that the lows to highs are more than 10%. But then, even 8% for 3 months is not bad.

Alternatively, an investor may choose to position themselves at the bottom of the channel or below, in anticipation of a potential upward movement of over 60% in the future...
