A sign of government's failure. You can't find the Cameroonian or Beninnois there. I've not heard that chadian students were so massively evacuated too. Shame on our leaders. This is global disgrace, which many primitive fangs are celebrating in they media |

ChizzyBuna: Ahhhhhhhhhhh. You want to do abandon properties in sudan. Sudan is not nigeria o. They would just simply kill the thieves that occupy their properties. But what our soldiers did in liberia and sieraleon was those soldiers stole and shipped the abandon properties to nigeria. Even there was report that they burgled houses to steal properties and sent it to nigeria. |

Eriokanmi: No, not like that. Sudan is a choice country to go to study. Particularly you will be able to speak fluent arabic. So many muslims would like that. I also tried to go to sudan to study one time. |

juman:Is Sudan the only country where you can speak Arabic fluently? What of Saudi, Oman, etc? Are Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Chad not Arabic-speaking nations? Do their nationals go to Sudan to study? Go to Algeria or Tunisia, you'd think you're in Europe. The rich isn't separated from the poor. They speak in Arabic too. You'd never find them in Sudan. Ordinary Niger, another Arab nation didn't do this. Our government has failed woefully. Which country in Africa locked up their universities for almost a year as our givernment did? Tell me. If war should break out in Chad or Benin tomorrow, that's when you'd see another secret if our useless government...the huge number of Nigerians schooling in Chad or Benin Republic will scare you, just becasue they've destroyed our education. Up to the 80s, these countries saw Nigeria as a choice location for education. People came from.as far as Egypt to school in UI. I remember a professor of medicine, now retired who once said UCH was number 4 teaching hospital in the whole of the commonwealth, including the UK, that patients were being brought in from all over Africa. Does it still happen today? Na we go fight for our right. Time never reach. We're still sleeping. |

Eriokanmi: There are people from those countries in sudan also, they might not be many as nigerians. Consider nigeria has population of over two hundred millions peoples. There are many free university slots in sudan. Saudi and gulf countries is much difficult to go. Their free university slots are much more competitive than that of sudan. Look, here in nordic countries, these are part of best countries in the world. But their citizens also go out to study. Also some big number. They go to near and far countries to study their choice courses they could not get in easily in their countries. |

Ireallyneedhelp:So you think your problems will be solved in a faceless forum.Whst makes you think people will donate money to you here.Nigeria is hard, everyone, including those you are begging from here are struggling to survive. Begging is not the best option, when you face little challenges in life, especially when it is food,if it's health cchallenges then one can understand If you must beg, start with those who know you; family, friends and relatives, you can start from there instead coming online. |

juman:I'm not doubting some of the things you said. Do you know the population of Ethiopia or Kenya? They hardly go out to study, i dont even want to talk about south Africans who dont like leaving their country except for expatriate jobs. There's nothing available in the western countries, which you'd not find in south Africa so, what's the need to go out? If its tourism, its a global tourist destination. Ethiopia is next to Nigeria in population and the last time I checked. Nigeria isn't the only country with a large number of Muslims in Africa if thats what you want to base your argument on. Hardly would you hear that Nigerians left for oberseas to stufy in those days as we have today...what has changed? Leadership! Are you aware Germany has much more tuition free universities in Europe than obtainable as elsewhere, including Sudan? My point is, if not the failure of our leaders, today, the whole world would have been thronging Nigeria to school. If they can put things right, less number if our youths would go out to study. The Sudanese experience is an open disgrace, believe it or not. I watched one man on channelstv who said he sent his child to sudan cos they don't go on strike and they don't pay much on tuition. We have everything but leadership. Sudan doesn't have oil like south Sudan or Nigeria. Investing in education isn't rocket science. Only in Nigeria would you see an accountant general walking the strets free |
Re: Sudan: Third Batch Of Nigerians Arrive Abuja From Port Sudan (Video, Photos) by juman(m): 1:56pm On May 07, 2023 |
Eriokanmi: You dont understand many of what you wrote there. Ethiopians, kenyans etc are everywhere. Walk in any major city in western countries you find them there. They are plenty in saudi, dubai etc working like nigerians. Germany has free education, its very difficult get admission, its very competitive. Tinubu will change the country´s story to positive one. Tinubu de, irorun de. |
