Shots at goal from tight angles are more predictable which makes the whole team's effort at goal more predictable and less effective. The same applies to right-footed wingers in same situations.

The question is why would you want to do that, when the wingers themselves have evolved their games to become goal scorers and not just creators?

I don't want to think that you believe Pep and Jurgen are wrong for playing Mahrez and Salah respectively on the right.

You can say that again but my whole argument is about the players themselves, just because they are left footed and attacker does not make them Messi,robben and Salah. Every team needs to know what works for them and which players fits a certain kind of game plan. I will never have suggested the likes of messi,robben and Salah to start from the left.

Yes, i don't dispute the fact that the possibilities at goal, cutting from the right isn't higher for a left footed players and vice-versa from right footed player as well but what do you do when your own attacker isn't getting the ball in the position as expected?


What you are describing a perfect scenario, a video game like scenario,this is reality. Football is not played one way,the reason we are were we are today. Chelsea foolishly copying prime Barcelona when the players are robotic. You can't ask Malouda to come and do the work of messi or robben,it is impossible. A good tactician will sit and analyse his players before tasking them with specific duties. Off my head Gareth Bale scored us while he was Tottenham cutting into his right and played a low shot passed Petr Cech or Cudicini or so. The player marking him was Paolo Ferreira or easy remembrance.

Any sensible Chelsea fan knows Boli made a grave mistake sacking Tuchel prematurely at the beginning of the season.

The jury is still out whether Boli is set to wreck the club or not. He has spoilt this season for us completely due to his inexperience and cluelessness.

Klopp also had moments of crises this season (just like he did in his first season in EPL), now things are much better for them, and they could play UCL next season or at least Europa.

I'm sure a foolish owner like Boli would have sacked Kloop few months ago when the team was struggling in games.

Top coaches like Kloop, Tuchel have their bad times and will deliver good results for any owner or board that backs them patiently.

Both coaches have earned being given some benefit of doubt when things are rough, unlike some rookies like Potter and Lampard.

Hopefully, Boli has learned from his mistakes. He no sabi run football business at all.

About Tuchel winning Bundesliga this season, that's the least expected of a top coach like him being one of the best coaches in the world. I expect him to win a series of titles with Bayern Munich.
