Newbies will always have a learning process. Descending jibowu from Surulere is another trap. It used to be get away from Empire traffic. Motorist still use it, but Lagos and her lawlessness. One day Lastma will strike and they honestly don't have a price. You are worth the price you arrive in their own world.

My cousin who is based abroad (lived there for so many years) got married recently here in Nigeria and I was the one that introduced him to the girl.
