lm moved by the need for there to be a discussion forum for christian singles on nairaland where issues bothering on dating, courting, singleness, heartbreaks, divorce, about to wed etc would be discussed, with people sharing their experiences of what they've passed through in the past, what they're going through presently and what they hope to go through/never want to go through in the future as regards relationships.

we are also free to list what we are looking out for in a would be life partner. i.e qualities and characters, when you hope to settledown.

one issue i also lok out for discussion is influence of parents, family members, religious leaders advice, friends opinion etc regarding choosing a partner.

lastly seeking GOD's opinion on marital matters.

Ok maybe this will catalyse some people to stop pretending. I am a 25year old single christian, a virgin but I have perfected plans to loose my virginity tomorrow.
The truth is that I have been fighting this internal war for months now and I happened to open a thread on here about the temptetions.
Some people tried to encourage me. I think I will give it up tomorrow. My friend is already on her way from school. Maybe you can advise me against doing that.
I have been able to keep the virginity this long because I always believed having sex will derail my destiny cos it has been confirmed severally by MOG's that I have a very potent ministry to float.
But when you think of the pressure, loneliness and hormones pressing a 25 year old man. You will understand.
I actually have kissed and romanced before but I have never penetrated so, I hope this is brazen enough.

Musky come on. Don't be naughty . I told ya it was a personal decision and now that I am having doubts there is no point pretending. I am a realist. I told you I do kiss and romance and does that sound like some one who is in short supply of women ?
I decided to keep myself from sex and that doesn't mean I am super human ok ?
The pressure I have now is not even hormones it's just curiousity .
When you have never had se*x it's not such a big deal to abscond from it it's only when you have tasted it once that it becomes a burden.

lol... personal experience and a lot of pastors I've met.. regarding judging, i have no idea what you mean.
I used to fix a lot of laptops at my church, most owned my pastors... A quick look through their internet browsing history revealed a lot..

my brother it's complicated but I will go with the waka pass. You won't believe she was the one telling me not to have sex with her that it's not worth it.
We actually talked about it on phone. She is not a virgin herself and she used to chase me for sex initially but then when she realised I am a virgin she stopped pestering me for sex and only asks for kisses and romance.
She wouldn't refuse me sex if I demanded it anyway but she advised me not to do it.

Ladies generally feel they are smart and they are just too emotional. Most times its only one thing that make them get obssesed with a man.
As far as I am concerned a lady has got to have a good head on those shoulders. She must show a sense of pride and good self esteem.
And most importantly she must RESPECT me. Now that girl didn't show the slightest respect for you and for me that is a huge turn off.

No investigation, no courtship, no counselling or what? your friends fate is exactly why im apprehensive. once u get there, as a christian, u cant checkout easily. l feel so sorry for him. some women are so pretentious in characters that they show green and later show yellow.
