None is unhackable, even with all these security tips a hack is still very possible. The most important thing is what is involved and how much the hacker stands to gain. As it stands card readers and loggers are being installed in POS devices.

That aside, this Yahoo of a thing is thriving and will remain so for the time being because the society encourages it. And same society will pay dearly for it in years to come.
you are right I don't do pos anymore. I transfer using mobile psb. I have been robbed several times by POS operators. Yeah with AI in town yahoo boys have upgraded their game. Infact they pay for these apps both for IOs and PC/Mac

It is on a halt as asummed my dear friend, this bois will get to a stage where they will go totally and financially bankrupt and Yahoo will no longer pay , at that age they might be in their late 30s or early 40s...Just imagine the number of men that will be forced into Street crime.
A successful live starts at late 30s, at that time responsibilities increases from health wise to financial wise. Majority of this boys are still in their 20s. Can this ill gotten wealth sustain them in their late 30s to 40?
I pity Benin & Delta , too much Crime can easily be predicted in future.
. Na today 419 started? Yahoo no go ever stop, it can only change dimension. The problem is they may start catching them easily soon

Did you know that Western countries commit fraud more than Nigerians?

However, the single most important reason why their people blow Nigeria's advance fee fraud out of proportion is that the Nigerian state supports fraud.

That's what two Americans and a Brit stated on a forum I belong to when a Nigerian guy shared online resources to show that Western countries commit more online fraud than Nigerians but they hypocritically make us look worse.

First, I don't support crime by no means.. I don't support anyone taking what doesn't belong to them..

Back to the story.. the difference between Nigerian fraudsters and their western counterparts are lifestyle...

There are lots of Nigerian fraudsters no doubt, but in my opinion there are more fraudsters in the western countries that are of western country origin than Nigerians.

Western fraudsters gets those money and tries to wash it to make it legit, although still living a flamboyant lifestyle. By making their money legit, it makes it a bit hard to spot and they maintain a longer shelf life .. because people do find it hard to belief because they could see the legitimate businesses that they own and operate.

9ja fraudsters almost makes it easier for you to spot them.. no business to show for it, no attempt to invest or legit the money..

How can a 21 yr old be driving a car that's worth N5m - N30m? Spend lavishly in the clubs, uses iPhone 14 pro Max that's worth N1m plus , carry women up and Dan.. no business to show for it . There isn't even any pretense of legitimacy in them.. fry hair, buy pig polo, you see them sitting around house at 11am when normal people are out and about..

Then go to club in and return to the crib between 2 to 4am.

I live in Germany and we have many lazy guys here who are into fraud....but the issue is most of them end up in prison here. One bro in Essen just came out from 5 months prison sentence. I know of another guy under 25 who collected 60k euros, flew to Nigeria and waste all the money....immediately he came back to Germany he was arrested and serve 1 year imprisonment. In western world, once you have been convicted of financial crime, forget it...you cant do much in life....because your record would always be there. Most of the yahoo boys here cant work, they have several baby mama, owing child support and are into drugs. Even if they make the money, spending or flaunting it here is difficult because all eyes are on you...and you cannot use Mercedes benz or iphone to oppress anyone...even a cleaner here can afford Iphone and MB is used for taxi...so its not a big....and no peace of mind. Honestly, legit pays in western world. Learn a skill, get a job and look for good partner and ball harder.....within 6 months you can do some courses that would give you atleast 3k euro monthly and cost of living here is cheap. So if anyone decided to do fraud here, they know what they sign up for and deserve no mercy.

There are many Nigerian fraudsters who invest their money in legit businesses. Dem full for Lekki. Obinwanne Okeke, for instance, was a fraudster, who invested in legit business, made Forbes list, and was giving us motivational speech. Today, he has been slammed 10 years imprisonment in the US.

You see, money that doesn't come from a legit enterprise means the fraudster committed something illegal to earn it. In other words, he stole money that wasn't originally his.

Lemme break it down. Bros, if you steal my #200k, I will report you to the police because you stole from me. The only reason the police won't pick you up is if I/they don't have evidence that you actually stole it.

That means, they will keep an eye on you until they have enough evidence to nab you. The day they can establish that you stole that money, they will pick you up and prosecute you.

Therefore, whether you flaunt your wealth or not, the day the authorities can establish you broke the law, they will pick you up. It doesn't matter how long that takes. It could also be several people reporting that you defrauded them. Whether you flaunt it or not, their eyes are already on you.

That's how the law works everywhere in the world. The only thing that can save you is if you have powerful people who can help you weather the storm when it rains.

Perfectly said. I personally believe one should not demean himself by becoming a thief or a scammer. But on a grand scale, what do you have to say about countries that mastermind wars and untold hardship in other countries for the benefit of their citizens? Morality is really subjective and a tricky beast. The world is full of evil governments and organizations. The war/proxy war going on in Ukraine is a perfect example. There are so many things we don't know about the governance of the universe. Just do what you believe is right by you but never assume that all evil doers will eventually get caught up by their evil. Idi Amin die peacefully in Saudi Arabia. Obama and George Bush are still alive and respected in America. The impact of their evil is still being felt by the people of Libya and Iraq.

You Dey mind am

I lived with my aunt her husband was a retired teacher back then they stop paying them federal pension only state and the state pension not every month self . Our house they used to do morning prayer from 5-6am Monday to Saturday , 90% of the people coming to our house then are retired teachers and other ministry who receive pensions.

They used to pray to God should remove anyone delaying their pensions from office and put a God fearing person. Orji Uzor Kalu was the governor then while OBJ was the president you can guess the result of they prayers now .

A few weeks ago, I spoke to a Yahoo boy that lives here inĀ Berlin. He was eating at the same Nigerian restaurant I went to eat at, one sunny Sunday.

He thought I was a G boy, so was asking me about some stuff I didn't know about, if I knew someone that deal with bank accounts, or if they could use mine to forward hundreds of thousands of euros.

I told him no, that I am employed, and jokingly complained about how the tax man is billing me yearly for income tax, that I didn't pay enough the previous year.Ā

Then we got talking and he went on to narrate how he envied ordinary folks that go to work daily, the simple calmness in their soul, and how they could access things that he cannot even access even if he has more money than them. I asked for more explanation, and he continued.

He said we do not have the fear of the future, that his affluent reality can come to a stop any day the law ever catches up with him. That when he hears a knock on his door, he fears so deeply to open even if it's the postman.

He will only open the door when he is sure he is expecting someoneĀ and the person is around. How he tries not to involve the authority for anything even if it's perfectly legal, due to fear of igniting any event that will shine a torchlight on his affairs that may lead to an arrest.Ā

That ordinary working folk can simply get a mortgage and buy a house, but he can't since that would lead to questioning his source of income. The guilt he felt because of the people he has harmed by stealing from them, and when bad things happen to him, he wonders if it's karma.

He has three daughters and has always wished for a son, but wondered if God gave him only daughters to punish him for his philandering. His three daughters are from two different women.Ā

For him, the most important thing he complained about was peace. He misses having peace, and that peace is priceless. That sometimes, he doesn't sleep long due to unnecessary fear.

His wife also knows the job he does, which hints at her moral failure, and he fears that she will use it against him if there is any conflict between them. His source of income is like a dagger under his belly.Ā

I was not shocked hearing all these, since I understand very well the cause-and-effect nature of things. But it was refreshingĀ hearing all these from him, as it made me appreciate my own struggles. I pitied him, and ask him why don't just stop it.

He responded that he can't. It's the only job he knows, and he has gone so far that he can'tĀ be earning wages that won't sustain his lifestyle.Ā
Then I asked how he got a residence since he doesn't work and didn't study. Then he said that was another mistake he regretted.

He came on a visitor visa, was desperate to stay permanently, and impregnated any available woman, to legalize himself.Ā

I was then wondering why he was telling me allĀ these things, which I consider a personal secret. And he said I give the vibe of someone that can empathize, and also, talking about it easesĀ the pain a bit, especially to strangers he won't see again.Ā

He then got a call and left. Probably someone will meet him outside. We shook hands and told me bye. After I finished eating and was about to pay, the waiter informed me that he has paid for my meal. I was thankful but had an unpleasant feeling that he paid for my food with some kind of blood money.Ā

Such anĀ encounter opened my eyes to a reality I have known to exist, but not met anyone in it. It reminds me of the quote that there is no peace for the wicked, no honor amongst thieves, and that what you sow, you shall reap.Ā
Your conclusion is the reason Tinubu is fearful and restless despite his acclaimed victory. They said Obi came third but the same Obi is more honourable among Africans than them all. Unlike Tinubu, Obi can go to anywhere without scores of security men. He is a man full of peace.
