Standard visa application takes 9days after your biometrics for a decision to be made and your passport returned back to the VAC as at today 18/5/2023

hi, Please can you share the email to use in making a complaint?
giselle237:
@milito if they made any mistakes in addressing your case as you have mentioned then make an official complaint.
Personally if an application is not straightforward I see no reason in a priority application as in this case they are working to provide results under a 5 day grace. If it is a refusal, refusal reasons too must come out within those 5 days ideally so I dnt like such push to them. I’ll rather they take their time and review or retrospect well on anything I have submitted. I believe they are not super humans and this is my personal take.

formal complaint is not an appeal. Not the same

Please how do I make a formal complaint as I believe my application was refused because the eco overlooked my documents and made a hasty decision.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Teegal215: 2:04am On May 19, 2023
Hello house. Is it essential to submit utility bill? Is tenancy agreement sufficient?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Femaleoutfit: 2:39am On May 19, 2023
I submitted both sha plus my rent receipt. Its best to submit as many important documents as possible, especially documents that show that u have ties in Nigeria so u can have a higher chance of getting your visa.
Secondly Your Situation/ Application is different from the next person's own. The documents that can be overlooked in the application of someone that has alot of travel history might be important when Assessing the Application of Someone that has no travel History.

Hello

Complaints are about the services offered and professional conduct not on decision made on your application

That is for an administrative review, if you don't have that option, you have to reapply

Cheers

If you wrote a separate letter from the form and included in your application then yes it is an additional document.

Thank you for your response. Tbh i can't retrieve the rent receipt and the utility bill is not in my name so i thought it better to leave it out. I have always submitted utility bill tho but i moved apartments. All other documents are in order i believe. I do have an extensive travel history to UK, schengen countries, US and canada. i have a current valid US visa (used a few times) and a used valid canada visa. I don't know if to risk it cry

but on the online form, this was stated

"If you needed to add more information about your
application but were not able to, you can write it
here.
If there is no further information you want to add,
click the 'Save and continue' button.

and i added this,

'Please find attached letter of explanation in respect
of insufficient information on my application for a
standard visitor's visa

so my question is that should i still add it to my Document check list ?

Hello

It will still need to be tied to services and/or professional conduct not fully on visa decision

That was the point I made,if there's evidence that one of the above led to the visa decision then that could work, ,if there's none and its fully on the visa decision then Goodluck to the OP

Cheers

Hello,
Please I need an advise.
I have submitted my mums application for a 2year visa and we made a mistake on the form, really don’t know how we missed it. The figure we put as what she earns is different from the payslips she has. Her salary was increased so she’s earning higher than what she was earning last year but we put the last year figure in the form.

Should we cancel the application and re-submit another ?
OR Should we submit another cover letter highlighting the error?

Can this cause a refusal? She’s to do her biometrics on Monday. I’m really worried

Thank you

Do anything that will give her a better chance of getting the visa, if u need to cancel the application please do that as long as ur money will be refunded, 500 dollars is alot of money to gamble on something that can be rectified. Alternatively, write a cover letter explaining the difference in her monthly pay but then again how sure are we that the VO will read the letter.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Segun889: 1:42pm On May 19, 2023
You don’t need to cancel it. You put in a lower figure than the actual amount. This would typically not count against your mum.

Good afternoon house. I applied for a uk visit visa and did my biometrics 9th of May 2023 at Ikeja. I have been tracking my application and then today I saw that my application has been transferred to the VAC. I didn’t receive a mail from anyone (either TLS or UKVI) does this mean my application was successful and when the tracker says application received by VAC is when I would receive a mail from TLS

My brother in UK wants to invite me to UK for one month, but I just got my CAC this month, hope it won't affect my chances of getting visa , I have been doing business for the pass 3years now but I just registered for the CAC this month because of the travel, do I need to add the CAC while applying or should I go with other alternative like invoice etc...
