Sanwo Olu should send them away asap

Send them to where? They're Nigerians and have every right to live in any parts of the country

If Yorubas or Hausas have a considerable high population size in Igbo land then they deserve to be given political appointments. But their populations are quite low. Igbos due to their population in Lagos deserve a few appointments but they shouldn't be asking for it.
While merit, qualification and competence are more of a prerequisite, having a large population of one's tribe in another state is not sacrosanct to deserving political appointment.

Ibos have started their revisions. grin grin

He noted that the Igbos played a decisive role in the last gubernatorial election, where all Igbo, market women came out en-mass despite the hiccups to ensure that Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu was re-elected for a second term.

But they pay taxes where they reside and also contribute in one way or the other to the growth and development of the region they reside just as those you regard as indigenes. So why wouldn't they deserve some appointments just because they are non indigenes?

How are they gonna change the way the think? From the very first day Nigeria was almagamated they've been plotting their expansionism agenda. What is mine is mine, what is yours is ours (and with time will be mine). Remember, Anambra used to belong to Igala people. Where are they today?

This is 21st century. The world has evolved. I am not saying the origins should be pushed aside but for the fact that Nigeria occupied that space b4 has made the state more dynamic and flexible. If Nigerians can go abroad and represent their locality, why can't the same be replicated on our own soil. The thing is, the right of the locals must not be usurped. Through consultation, a lot can be achieved

You should be preaching this to IBOS, NOT Yoruba people. Ibos won't even allow an Enugu man to be house of rep member in Anambra.

So, you're using your population in Yorubaland to threaten your hosts?! You also have a large population in Kano, why have you not used it to threaten the Hausa-Fulani people?

Taxes are for the roads and services that state provide. You're not doing charity by paying taxes.

Bianca Ojukwu wanted to contest senatorial election in Anambra, they blocked her and told her to go to her fatherland in Enugu and be senator.

Betty Akeredolu wanted to contest senatorial election in her home state Imo, they blocked her, told her she is married to Yoruba and go to Yorubaland to rule.

You cannot bury Ebonyi corpse in Anambra, they will uproot the body and dump across the border to Ebonyi. Their reason is the dead person is not from Anambra.

Bianca, Betty, dead body, these are not protected by Nigerian constitution, only Ibos living in Lagos are protected by constitution to do what they like.

2023 is end of road for Ibo in Lagos. GAC has already selected a successor for Sanwo Olu in 2027, a hard core anti-Ibo politician. A proper Lagos Island man. Una eye go open soon.

I wonder why Igbos, of all Nigerians, can never read the writings on the wall. Must be greed covetousness.

Most Nigerian are now fed up of 'one Nigeria'. It is a discredited system that has failed and need replacing asap.

Why Igbos alone asking for more representation in the land of others at a time when most Nigerians are now uncompromising in the belief that charity should begin at home for every Nigerian?

Nigeria is changing but a shame the greed and covetousnss of Igbos won't allow them see this and prepare for it.

Even putting aside their attempted hostile takeover of Lagos using GRV, regional autonomy is an uncompromising demand of many today.

The Yorubas are leading the agitation for it while SS and MB are passionately in favour of it.

Only the Igbos and the North are hesitant. The Igbos because of greed and covetousness that means they forever want to keep profiting from the land of others when that is not going to be possible going forward since, for example, Lagos has an elastic limit her resources can cope with per influx of people from every corner of Nigeria. Especially Igbos.

The North simply do not want regional autonomy because they fear they give far less to Nigeria than they gain from her meaning they are petrified of going it alone without Supreme political power they use to commandeer Nigeria's wealth which in a regionally autonomous and meritocratic country will leave them badly off.

Well, I have news for these two regions. Regional autonomy is inevitable because the advent of it is now compulsory due to how Buhari has led the nation and left us in horrendous debts that analysts claim we will be using above 90% of our revenue to service.

The only way out for Nigeria, so we can record any meaningful growth and progress moving forward, is to make significantly more money than we are making currently meaning diversification of earnings away from oil meaning a compulsory and uncompromising look at how every State and region can become self-sufficient like rather than remain moribund space folks want to flee for Lagos.

In the new Nigeria we are all going to be forced to build, oe die literally, all hands must be on deck starting where those hands originate from.

The near future, even from 29th of May, won't be a time for Anambra man to go seeking sustenance and political office in Lagos. It will be a period where everyone will be reminded they must join rather than flee the effort to reform Nigeria starting from State to State and region to region.

When that idea has bedded in there will be hostility and protectionist disdain for those who want to roam around like vagabonds from State to State instead of join the patriotic call for us all to rehabilitate Nigeria starting from our States and region of origin.

Igbo man's greed and covetousness always prevents him heeding good advice but within two years of the administration of Tinubu they will start feeling the reality of being treated like lepers because they alone refuse to commit to remaining at home to put their affairs in order as a nation in transition has decided is the inevitable and only way forward.
