Angelfrost: Kif, i don’t need to do a long write-up on how your people from the SE, have been the same with primitive behavioural pattern in this country from the time of Zik till now. Nothing has changed, only more pronounced now. Such a pathetic dejected evil people who are against anything good and seek revenge when things don’t go their way. A plague that must be avoided by all means 1 Like |

TheDemola: But does Hundeyin remember that Ethiopian Air is the majority foreign investor in Nigeria Air? Do all airlines buy brand new planes? Has he ascertained if the crew is Nigerian or Ethiopian or if it is on wet or dry lease? Hundeyins report is not fully cooked. He needs to do more work - what he has done so far will only excite opponents of the government - for those who want to criticize constructively, more depth is required. 2 Likes |

It is standard practice to start an airline with leased planes now. Ethiopian Airlines is the technical partner and majority shareholder in Nigeria Air which is okay 2 Likes |

It is well with our country. Why wont everybody handling political or none political Nigeria's business not try to defraud the country.... the authorities are clueless and corrupt! It is really well. |
Re: Nigeria Air Is Rented - David Hundeyin by hoyze24: 9:02pm On May 26, 2023 |
MrBrownJay1: This is not true. Airpeace have planes that are delivered brand new from Embraer. https://businessday.ng/news/article/air-peace-takes-delivery-of-5th-brand-new-embraer-195-e2-aircraft/ |
Re: Nigeria Air Is Rented - David Hundeyin by nedekid: 9:09pm On May 26, 2023 |
RealLordZeus:Same thing. All jibiti. If akwa ibom, a state can purchase aircraft fully and place order for brand new aircrafts. If airpeace can buy brand new planes and have more on order max air and the others, why will Nigeria, a whole country not be able to setup an airline, but will rather get Ethiopian airways as technical partner to operate both local and international flights for Nigeria. They even say there will be tax breaks given to the airline for 15 years at the detriment of existing local operators. Is this not criminality? Do you know our call signs, international routes, slots may be used to the advantage of Ethiopian airways? Where was this airline during the days of Nigeria airways? Anyway corruption will never make Nigeria have a national airline. Every minister has a personal agenda. |

Apart from making Obi.diots head swell, this guy's mission is not so different from that Tiamiyu guy. Anywhere belle face to gain the status of asylum seeker. He wants to prove that he has enough "revelation" against the government of his home country to be a person of interest. It's purely vested interests to him, because nobody does all these out of patriotism. We all feel the effect of bad governance, but we don't all constantly wish death on all politician in power. The new system is always built upon the old. 2 Likes |

hoyze24: YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!!! out of the 35 planes that Air Peace have in circulation today, the TWO Embraer planes are the only ones they bought brand new. BTW, they bought these 2 planes after being almost 8yrs in the airline business) 2 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Nigeria Air Is Rented - David Hundeyin by Kukutenla: 9:59pm On May 26, 2023 |
MrBrownJay1:Majority of theplanes in their fleet belong to them contrary to your claim. I also wonder what difference the years they've been in operation makes. Nigeria had its first airline in 1958 while this Nigeria Air thing has been on the cards since 2015, 8 years ago |

MrBrownJay1: Without prejudice to the rest of your post… Nonetheless, afraid that the highlighted is actually NOT quite correct. While Air Peace started flying initially with planes leased from SnartLynx Malta, it has since made substantial orders directly from Embraer and Boeing, and all of its recent fleet (from 2018) is DIRECTLY owned by its wholly-owned subsidiary Air Peace Hopper. > 1 Like |

Segzy19: What's the benefit to Nigeria of Ethiopia Airline running Nigeria airways if the planes also belong to Ethiopia Airline? What part would be Nigerian, the paint and logos? Wouldn't it be more cost effective to Nigeria if Ethiopia simply stationed some of its fleet in Nigeria for Nigerians and we paid. Presumably our pilots and airhostess trained abroad negating the thought that the only benefit for Nigeria in Ethiopia rebranding some of its aircraft Nigerian is the rubbish idea that they will be training our personnel in preparation for us going independent shortly . |

MrBrownJay1: Dude the issue is not that the planes are not rented, but that plane was still in active service 5 days ago, hurriedly went for a paint job just to commission it as Nigerian Air. This was the same scam that Imo Air was during Rochas Okorocha. What happened to the planes? |
Re: Nigeria Air Is Rented - David Hundeyin by obyno82: 5:51am On May 27, 2023 |
MrBrownJay1: Smartlynx ownes airpeace airbus planes. The Embraer planes that are in the fleet are solely Air peace planes. |
