The Op no get understanding of Nigeria and how the situation and economic works, there is no jobs anywhere even with the few jobs in town the salaries are so poor that a grown up adult will have to skip meal because he can't afford it. The only option is to find any little business that can bring in little income to survive. The situation of Nigerians today is now survival, you can hard find any youth in this country living up to his dream and aspirations. If I want to build a startup business do you know how much resources it will cost me? Where will I get the money from? Who will fund it?. These are many problems limiting majority of Nigeria youths. We have big plans and dreams but the dreams becomes useless when there is no resources to push it. Majority of the youth are try to survive, they are dumb, or foolish they just want to survive in the hard economic |

CuriousCart:Op, you made a valid point but it's not people fault because no enabling environment to try new things. We copied everything from classwork to final year project thesis, and copying is not only done at lower level of education, even at higher level. The country economy situation is not helping any ambitious individual. I believe copies of Dangote refinery will soon be and everyone will benefit from it. Copying is a cultural thing in Nigeria, if you don't copy you may be left behind, so copy anything copable. There was a time a student was copying in an exam but mistakenly copy the other person names. ![]() |

Another thing I noticed in this country is that when the uneducated ones formulate any rumor it is the educated one that help spread it without investigation. |

Angelfrost:Dortmund just had one job to do today, after Bayern gave them a lifeline last week. But what did they do? Couldn't win their last game at home. What a pity! Only that I would never have pity for they and Arsenal. They deserve to go trophyless for the next 100 years! PS, Bellingham had better port to Mancity ASAP. |
| Re: My Personal Observation About Nigerian "Adults" by beejaay: 6:48pm On May 27, 2023 |
elefind:because the govt refused to open up the economy to opportunities and they didnt do it becasue they suffered from the same problem the OP raised... most nigerians aint forward thinkers, we hardly plan or have foresight for more than 2 years and this affect our leaders becasue they are part of us the people before they become leaders. that limited foresight of ours have reduced our definition of success to money, money and money( i'm not denying the fact that money is important or good but our myopias have reduced it to everything)... You will governors/Presidents fighting to keep oppressing people for something he will only enjoy for 4yrs or 8yrs maximum when a forward thinker will see the 4 or 8yrs as a step to plan for the next generation... leaders think about the next generation but our leaders cant becasue they are from amogst us the people that suffer what the OP said..its a real problem |

OfeAchi:Dortmund messed up big time... Imagine the crucial penalty Haller missed! This is a trophy that they may never come this close to winning for years to come... Bayern played rubbish the entire season, and you still stupidly gifted them the trophy! Bellingham is definitely avoiding Man City... He already dissed them badly! ![]() Real Madrid will take him...! Liverpool would have been his preferred destination but those ones will never pay that joke of a transfer fee! |
