I just started my visa application process but i have a few questions. I currently reside in UAE (Way longer than 6 months) and plan to start my application here. This means I am exempt from presenting the TB Certificate. But i want to choose a VAC in Nigeria to submit the biometrics and other documents.

1. Is this possible?
2. While applying do i need to set my address as UAE or Nigeria

Note: I am aware I will have to prove my stay in a country that is exempt from the TB Certificate (I plan to present documents like passport stamps and any other documents)

How long you will stay in Nigeria priorr to your application?.At 6months TB test requirement will have to apply

Well I respect your opinion about how you view my submission and current realities.

But for others, I suggest they look elsewhere which has more prospects than the UK at the moment.Paying so much fees, and not been able to recoup investment can lead to depressions.

If I may come in here... I think the advice should be this, if you are coming alone without a dependent to do the work, it will be quite difficult cos student jobs are hard to come by , nobody likes employing short hours contract. Concerning scarcity of jobs, it depends on the city you are situated at. I stay in SE London and I came in February as a dependent, I am on my 4th job now, all i resigned cos a better offer came up.

The point is this, if you come alone without a dependent, it will take you ages to re coup cos of job scarcity for students. The city you are depends on the job availability as well. Most people move to London and London boroughs cos there are more jobs, in as much as Bill's are a bit higher

I run a service company here in the UAE which is attached to my Resident Visa. However, my company license is currently expired (Does not affect my Visa). Unfortunately, VFS requires an updated company license while submitting documents. There are a few obstacles in the license renewal hence why I have decided to travel to Nigeria for the sole purpose of the document submission.

I am ready to start my application ASAP. So I wont be staying in Nigeria past the 6 month duration before applying. I Plan on starting the application here in UAE and going to submit the documents in Nigeria.

Just wanted to confirm if this plan is feasible

My girl friend applied as a Care Worker to work and live in the UK and she has been working and living in the UK for 1 year.

We are planning to get married next year and I am wondering if it is possible for her to bring me in to the UK as a dependent because I have just be hearing different things from people.

Some are saying that it is not possible because she does not have "stay" to bring people in because she only has a work visa and she has not spent a lot of years in the UK.

UK Experts, please help.

The core changes at the moment regarding dependants are for study visa not skilled workers visa.

She is entitled to bring her dependant if she wants to

The onus is on you both to prove that your relationship is substantial (there will be scrutiny on this going forward)

NTU confirms payment whenever they receive it. This typically takes about a week. You can email your receipt to africa@ntu.ac.uk so they can check if yours has been received. CAS takes about 10 days but a little longer now.

I don't know about Convera payment, people I know who tried said it didn't work, I only know of paying through the NTU online store or a direct bank transfer from the UK.

I paid via convera and convera says the money has been sent to the school. However, ntu is yet to confirm my payment or reply my mail.

Hello, can one state NPOWER as work experience? There is evidence of the payroll on their site.
Also, my spouse is following me but our child is not joining us yet. When giving pictures as evidence of relationship, can I present those with our baby even when she isn't following us now?

With the ban on dependants, does that mean MA who enter Uk this September intake won't be able to bring his dependants into UK come January 2024 or it's the students that start their admission process in January that will be affected.
