Send your SOP to me let me help you to criticize it. I will only criticize the sponsorship aspect for you.

Whitie:

Mine was a lump sum sent into my Acc by my mom which my agent claimed to have explained in one of the documents submitted
Still got a denial
I don’t even know what to do again
The vo also made mention of a host asset/documents meanwhile,I’m not a minor
What could be the problem please?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by sudo1986: 8:17am On May 30, 2023
Send your SOP and let me see how you explained your sponsorship aspect. I will only criticize that sponsorship aspect alone. I don't have free time like that because I go to the lab everyday.

Note: I am not an expert, neither am I an agent. I'll criticize based on my experience.

Whitie:

I was denied today even with 15m
Compound reasons given were based on finance even after paying 50% of my tuition😞
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by sudo1986: 8:19am On May 30, 2023
Are you sure this is specific to your application and not generic?

Whitie:

These were the reasons given
The agent said he explained the reason for the lump sum
They demanded for documents to proof Canadian host’s asset despite not been a minor
Someone should please explain the English cause I can’t seem to think straight and the possible solution if any

That is the message from irrc and the reply from my lawyer… seriously I don’t even know what is going on
He keeps saying nothing yet since March

Is the lawyer the same as the agent who applied on your behalf and do you have access to the portal?

I think IRCC would have concluded on your application.

Answering “Yes” does not mean she applied for them, and the fee amount confirms that she submitted for one applicant. Once the application is approved, she can apply for the child and follow it up with an email and/or web form with the subject line ‘Urgent.’

Thanks so much.
Please, to apply for the infant child of 5 months, is it going to be a study permit or visitor’s visa?
How about the husband too?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by DejiiiiB: 9:35am On May 30, 2023
Hello Guys

Please I would appreciate your advice on this

I studied Management and Accounting

I got an admission at Fleming College to study Business (BNT), which is a 2years program without co-op and also an admission at Seneca College to study Business Administration in Marketing for 3 years program with co-op.

My concern is that won’t the duration program be of a concern to the VO when assessing my application and also another concern is the large POF I would need to provide for the 3 years program.

Which one would you advice me to with ?

I will appreciate everyone input.🙏🏼

Be careful of agents. My simple advice. You can get admission yourself, and come back here for people to guide you. If you need any help AFTER admission, message me.

Its something you can do yourself with enough research and online advice from people here...I will advice u to first look out for those that have gotten passport request and look for document they submitted so u can jot it down somewhere then you look for a school snf from there u are gradually starting cos that was the same way I did mine and it ended well.
Regards

I finally submitted the application last Friday, I requested for new dollar card from GTB and I works. The formal card was Visa and new is MasterCard.

My challenge now, is how do I go about biometric capture. I got a letter as regards it same day after submission. Do I need to book biometric also or how do I go about it. I will like to go to Abuja for biometric

You'll need your transcript but you don't need IELTS.

Also, 7m won't be enough to pay your tuition in Seneca. Check out NBCC

Good morning,
I applied for study visa since march using my may resumption date in my application.. The only response have gotten is the medical request and request for updated passport.
The medical has been approved but the passport is still not approved its been 2months since I applied and some days now. I was advised to request for my notes that it might prompt them to work on it, I just want to know if its advisable?

My take on this is to eliminate all possible risk. Your guardian can buy you a GIC to further prove his commitment.

Let us suppose that your total tuition fee and living expenses is 25m, your guardian has 30m in his/her account with 5 children still schooling. Automatically, it is evident that the guardian cannot sponsor you. The VO would dispute your guardian's ability to finance your education. Nobody would give someone 25m out 30m when there are still other responsibilities around his/her shoulder.

The only time it will be good to have the funds reside in your sponsor account is when the ratio of your finance is way less than the remaining balance after deducting your cost of studying. An example is if I promise to be responsible for someone studying to the tune of 25m and I have 50m in my account, it is understandable that I have the financial capability given that that person I want to sponsor is closely related to me because VOs know that I won't be so generous to give 25m to just a brother of my brother that is given birth to by another mother different from my mother's mother.

I hope you get the gist.
Thanks for your input

She can open a domiciliary account. That way the exchange rate risk is eliminated. She can then use the money to open a GIC if she chooses. The Uncle should also attach his pay slip and evidence/ source of his income. Evidence of previous payments for her education can also prove ties to her uncle and convince the VO that the funds are not just for demonstrative purposes.
Thanks for your input

Send emails to at least 5 IRCC offices Lagos, Nairobi, Beijing, London, Ottawa, Manilla, I do not have the email addresses, but you can search for them on this thread.

The heading should have URGENT on it and state how you have been waiting for the PPR and your resumption date being close.
