its not a blunder , it is a statement of fact ! The people causing artificial scarcity are the saboteurs.

Dude, have your excuses already started?

Words matter. statement of fact should have come after the work has been put in, contingency plan tested and planned, dry run if possible before your statement of facts.

This is a blunder. No saboteur made him not do the groundwork before opening his mouth

Which kind roadside economics be this?

Remember the last time that the C.B.N tried such a stunt, that saw the $$ balloon from #360 to almost #600 in less than a year? The rumor is that this "ways and means lending" was all Tinubus' idea, when he wasn't of any capacity as a state actor. Now if he could pull this off as a private citizen then imagine the ball he now has the power to play as the selected president of the federation. As I mentioned earlier, Enjoy!!

Stop spreading wrong information and misleading the public. Subsidy removal is yet to take effect, Jagaban statement is just a notification for future action. The Country is still implementing/working with the 2022 appropriation Bill for extended 6momths to come and there is provision for subsidy there.

The 2023 budget is where there is no provision for subsidy is yet to be implemented unit 6 months' time. Of course, the petroleum marketers are just hoarding the product to create artificial scarcity for their selfish interest, manipulating people ignorance

.........But Mr. president said and I quote "Fuel Subsidy is Over". Are you ignorant of the weight his statements carry?

What palliative measures did Tinubu put in place to cushion the effect or Subsidy removal?

You can't just withdraw Subsidy without a plan.

I just hope this man is prepared for governance 🙆🏿
He didn't withdraw it, the withdrawal is the in the budget which should last until next, the problem is with u Nigèriàñs whom governing anîmàIs is way easier than u people.
The grèéd inherent in the avèràge Nîgèrîan, the desire to work to see a góvèrñment faiI because it's not ur preferred càndidàte is the reason we are having fuel hike not because subsidy has been removed, the fuel they are selling are still subsidized.

I have no reason to be bitter towards Tinubu, his policies do not affect me. I just laid out the issue and you resorted to name-calling.

You do you. I am not the one queuing to buy fuel, y'all are

You want to win an argument even if it is to your detriment.

Well since you cannot see the level of stupidity you just spewed, he should announce that a dollar is equal to 1 Naira without the groundwork to make it so.

Y'all are too dumb to have a phone

Don't mind the dumb fellow supporting a dumb mandate thief.
I guess he doesn't need to know how to speak english as well to be president.
"Fuel Subsidy is gone" means no more fuel subsidy, it's in the past. Whether marketers are taking advantage or not it's the sick, old brainless man's fault.
This is just the beginning, he will sell out this country.

You guys are just hypocrites looking for what to wail about. Atiku, Peter Obi and Tinubu all agreed that subsidy must go immediately. The 2023 budget also did not provide for subsidy beyond June ending. So, what’s your point?
