Alvin212:Yet we wonder why an embassy should severely screen and quiz your application while you exhibit this kind of zero caution publicly. You ought to be removed from this thread. |

mosesronnal:There's no approval (e)mail, rather a decision email, which could either be an approval or disapproval in the end. A decision email usually takes up to 6 weeks depending on the city you applied to in Germany, the beginning of your study, your type or category of study. |

Did the test hold? I know someone who applied for MSc AI at FAU and he hasn’t gotten any such notification about a test. Harry4cas: |

Can I book for an appointment first while waiting to finish the process of funding block account so that I can secure interview date as early as possible? |

Joeman1:Well if you came out with a first class degree or you got a scholarship from a German public fund, you should book for an appointment under category A after funding your blocked account, because your date can come within 2 or 3 days. But if you don’t have a scholarship nor did you come out with a first class degree, then book for an appointment immediately even if you haven’t funded your account yet, because you’ll be called after a year for your interview. But that can be changed if you can apply for any available scholarship. |
What exactly is the 'a lot'? Difficulty? Just follow the instructions, take time to read through. My bad not really a lot nor difficulty, I’m not just seeing the clear steps cus earlier I got admission to do my Bachelors at a private university and the application process was too easy compared to what I’m seeing right now. I want to confirm is my Waec result enough to get admission at a school in Germany? Thank you |

Find out what is required by the school. Normally, it should or with a transcript of first year University or ND if applicable. The minimum requirement is usually a university qualifying certificate, which WAEC out to be. People here has more experience in it, I have no firsthand info on undergraduate studies without at least a national diploma (H/ND) or ongoing University transcript. |

Please does FAU make use of Uni-assist? The information on their website is a bit confusing Harry4cas: |
| Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by megaxart(m): 7:21pm On Jun 02, 2023 |

No. A waec result alone is not enough as it's not equivalent to the German Abitur (13 years of school education). So to make up for the difference you could either: 1) do a 1 year program called Studienkolleg which is entirely in German (you'd need a bare Minimum of B2 level to start this) 2) or you could spend 1 year in a Nigerian university and use your 100l transcript to apply. |
