Good evening everyone . Trust you are all doing great.
Please I have an important question to ask. My wife and I are already in the uk. I’m the MA. I’ve been here since January my wife joined in February. We are ready to bring our kids over now.

My question is this: The visa application for my kids should I use my uk address?. I am staying in a room shared apartment with my wife o hope it doesn’t matter

Can I use my uk phone number? Is that better

Sebi I can use my naija bank account as POF for them

Also, what could be the documents to upload for their application.

Can I upload a combined document across the kids application? Like using one consent form etc.

How many month POF should I submit

Thank you very much

Please anyone experience this on the IHS site ? I've been trying to pay for my IHS fee but this is the response I've been getting. I've contacted my bank if there are issues but they assured me my USD card and account is perfect .

Please what do I do ?

Check if you have sufficient amount in you dollar card account also some banks has a different card account from the main dollar account

1. Use your UK address but note that your tenancy agreement would show that it's a shared and that has the potential to be an issue because you're supposed to show that there are adequate accommodation arrangements for your kids to join you.

2. You can use that since that's where they would call if they need to clarify any info via a phone call. Using your Naija number can be prone to network issues.

3. As long as there are sufficient funds in it. You can also use your UK account.

4. Check the 1st page for documents required or check through the thread for documents that others have submitted.

5. Yes, you can but advisable to use 1 consent form per child to prevent information mixup.

6. Maintenance x 9months held for at least 28 days in your account.

Hello ALL.
My brother has a conditional offer from Middlesex and has been asked to pay some deposit.

My question: how do you pay the money in Pounds from Nigeria to the UK University ?

He just started putting Naira in his nigerian account this week, so he hasn't grown the funds well enough yet.

Thanks.

Thank you for the response.
But what do you mean by some banks has a different card account from the main dollar account?
Does that mean the USD card issued to me by the bank could be different from the card ought to have been linked to my dollar account ? I already contacted the bank and they told me both the card and account are activated . Moreso, there is sufficient fund in the account.

Hello

Just to add to @mimilyrics comment on No 1.

Use the current address they are staying in Nigeria. They aren't in the UK yet so can't have a UK address. In the section for where they will be staying, you can use your current UK address, however like she mentioned, shared accommodation is NOT ideal for kids. Any detailed ECO will flag it up

Cheers

Hello

This sounds like a concern that was posted previously between someone and his agent on precas questionnaire

My question is, if it is locked how do you intend to amend your answers?

You already stated it is locked, how are you possibly asking if you can open it?? Also if you mention the Uni maybe people that know more about your Uni can help

Cheers

Hello brothers and sisters in the house
I need your concrete advise now cos as it now I am in a big mess.
I have filled almost my cas shield and have uploaded necessary documents including my passport, certificate and transcript and my TB.
I haven't submitted my pof and haven't done interview.
The problem now is that I didn't answer my precas questionnaire very well, there are mistakes in the questionnaire. And the page for this questionnaire has been locked. I mailed the admission team maybe I can access the precas questionnaire page to amend errors made But there was no response. I even sent message through the CAS shield messanger but no response.
My question is, is it possible to open this precas questionnaire again for amendment since I haven't completed with the whole CAS shield (haven't submit my pof and haven't done CAS interview). Is it ok to let them aware of this before they refuse CAS?
Please, I'll be more glad to read your advice
Thanks

I just read that the CBN has devalued the naira from 461 to 631naira to a dollar. That should translate to about 787 to 800 naira to a dollar.
This could spell doom fir those still processing form A and even me that my POF is till running at my estimated 600 naira to a pound.
The CBN haven't updated their website anyway and OANDA rate hasn't changed too anyway and I just pray status quo remains for the next few weeks.

And you havent received any email at all from them? Why not check your spam folder for possible email? Also why not do paid call or mail to them to check and confirm the status of your application? or better still, track the progress on the TLS website

I can't say what amount you'll pay if it's not in £ because how much you end up paying in $ or N depends on the exchange rate in play at the time you submit/make payment.

Cost in £:
1. Student visa fee (outside the UK): £363 https://www.gov.uk/student-visa
2. Application fee: Priority - £250 (you don't need this if it's a standard application- your £363 above covers your standard application processing) https://pos.tlscontact.com/los_en/added-value-services#fraud_alert
3. IHS - £705 for a year's course. https://www.immigration-health-surcharge.service.gov.uk/checker/type
Total in pounds: £1,318 (Priority)
£1,068 (Standard)

Naira
1. Courier - N30,000 (from TLS site link in 2 above)
2. Tb test: 57,800 (subject to changes in ForEx) https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/tuberculosis-test-for-a-uk-visa-clinics-in-nigeria/tuberculosis-testing-in-nigeria

Total in Naira - N87,800

PS: you don't need an agent to process your visa since it's something that you can do by yourself.

Please house, I would like to ask, will all these fees be paid in Naira, pounds or USD?

Also, can someone else in the UK pay for me with their cards?

Please, kindly share insights.

My major concern is form A. It will definitely go high. I’m now tempted to convert my money back to pounds. The form A payment will become useless.

My major concerns is regarding applications submitted with POF using the current rate on OANDA. When this change finally takes effect, would already submitted applications be affected?
