Can you see that they deliberately omitted the price per km.? grin. Fuel ( a major cost input) shot up above 150%, please what rate did fares go to.?
#700 to #800. . Bolt is a joker.

The new pricing is still very very poor. If BOLT really care, let them reduce their commission to 15%

Bolt will rather tell drivers that they can now be using cars of 1980 model than reducing their commission.
That bolt commission una dey see, it will never come down below that.
Much respect, boss.

Pope191. I posted this yesterday.

If you have been paying attention and were comfortably grossing 30k daily on Indriver, your new daily target is 45k. You're basically doing same number of trips but re-strategize to 3k for 30 mins trips and 5-6k for 1hr trips. Anything less, rejecto.

Same time, same energy, same number of hours. This is for a 6 day work period Indriver... (Fuck_Bolt)

Weekly fuel 75000
Weekly commission 27000
Weekly gross - 270,000
Weekly net - 168,000

No time

If you have more energy good. But stick to this.

What you do with your net, your biz
sorry bro, but are you saying you don't look at kilometers? just time? because for me the major determinant of price Is km

To every driver, if this is the new Bolt tariff, if you drive on Bolt, you will run @ a loss. Bolt has done nothing so far.

Let's look at the numbers.

Average fuel per full work day- 25 litres. @ 185- #4,625

Average fuel- @ 488 - #12,200.

Diff in fuel cost- # 7,575.

7,575
-------- * 100% = 163.7%
4,625

That means your fuel cost has increased by 163.7%

Let's look @ fare increase.

Bolt old price - 104/km. Not sure
Bolt new price - 130/km

130 -104 = 26 naira increase in fares

26
---- * 100 = 25% increase in fares.
104

163.7% increase in cost to driver but only 25% increase on fares.

163.7% of driver versus 25% of Bolt.

Bolt cares only about their 25%. At the former old price template,Bolt's business objectives will be met. So there's no real motivation to increase fares. Driving does not make you dumb.

Be guided.

The New pricing on Bolt, Uber, Indrive and Rida should be 150 to 200 percent increase. Anything lower than that is cheating and enslavement.

I think one of the ways to outsmart them in their game is to go for apps with lesser commissions than theirs....or is their any other way?...

Offline trips will increase, drivers will prefer do offline trips to avoid paying Bolt 25% commission.

I am not a fan offline for safety reasons

if you use km as determinant on indrive, you'll lose. Maybe on the useless app, bolt.

As for whether I earn 500k I don't earn that as a salary earner I resigned form my work because of the trash salary I was earning.
What I currently do now is land banking . Buying and reselling of lands. This Land banking they bring me profit of 600k/ monthly
My lands dey fetch me 7Million Naira yearly
Due to appreciation
Right now I fit piss on my ex boss face

Salary work na thrash It did not make me Rich today na land banking I take make am today

To hell with 8-5pm salary work
So you don't even do Uber or done it before?
Na waoo, so you think if Uber driver can do like you he will still prefer moving traffic abi Lagos?

It depends on one's choice

Try to beat the morning traffic even if it means leaving an hour earlier. Then choose your trips as if you were on Uber destination trips with your destination as Chevron. Get to Chevron then do same back to island.

It's what I do but in reverse. It's simple. Just try it. The traffic starts at a particular time. Beat it
This is an insight, pope should be paying for this information.

Gods blessing to you sir..This is the type of analysis we should be doing here. I have spent a couple of hour cracking my head around the whole thing and to be honest, drivers will be at the receiving end! I did some trip earlier today and to be honest, my eyes were just gazed on my fuel stick on the dashboard. Looking at the way the thing dey drop and the stupid fares am getting, nah it doesn't commensurate...I would probably just work and refuel, then maybe eat, go home with few token that WILL NEVER equal to the number of hours I have invested, not even close.
Alapere to Ikeja usually is 2k b4 now am seeing 2200/2300 at most..That increase does not address current realities..If you have a car on rental, WITHDRAW it now and wait make road clear small...no emotion, just biz!

How often to service the gear pls?
ksmart027:

What type of oil is the previous owner using.? The car is suitable for e hailing, just make sure you use the original Honda dw1 whenever you want to service the transmission.

I agree with you but note that the issue on ground is one of survival...What is the average salary of a civil servant Minimum wage is 30k but even till now most state cannot afford it and they can't pay..The problem is, even the civil servant won't be able to go to work..Level 10 in Alausa don't even earn up to 100k.. imagine same person using 1500 for TP everyday..So even if it's a script, how would that person survive...My HR is talking about hybrid now, the truth is it will be difficult to increase salary immediately but what other options do we have. Can we do hybrid, work 3 days a week, two from home, or a week in the office, the second week from home..Next week will be tough in my office...This is where entry level net is about 180k and more than 70% drives their car .....

If you fill your tank and gross 35k plus, how much fuel did you use?

I bought fuel 15k grossed 47k and have half tank left. How much fuel did I use?

7500.

U topped fuel of 15k to fill ur tank and grossed 47k and then had half tank left.
That means u used half tank to gross 47k and half tank is now 12k so profit before commission is 35k.
