Good morning Guys, please I need help. My first application was rejected within two weeks of application. I studied engineering and applied for a masters in engineering after 6years of graduation. (Tho I haven't been working in my field, but I kind of linked my whole process with work(in my SOP),stating that I'm currently work in a fast growing farm as a engineer in charge of piping systems, priming of generator n any other engineering related job you can find in a farm. Truth is,the farm is my Dad's, but I didn't state this while applying. I used the farm cos since it is ours,it will be a lot easy to provide any assistance. Please Note(the farm has no CAC document, but provides steady n good income. My dad is my primary sponsor and I submitted application with POF of 15m and 4kCAD as deposit. Now these are the reasons for rejection.
1. The V.O isn't convinced I'll return to my country after my 2 years study.
2. That I say I work and yet didn't submit any payslip, invoice tax nor bank statement in my name
3. No family ties outside Canada
4. Insufficient funds.
Please Guys,I need help on how to tackle these concern of the V.O please πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
What u need are;

kweje:

IRCC has its own exchange rate. POF is not calculated at our rates.
Check the link https://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/cgi-bin/recgen/er.pl?Language=E

I stand to be corrected.

This rate indicates N485 to 1CAD for Jun 15th. That's a jump from N349 it indicated on the 14th.

Also, Oanda jumped to N379 to 1 CAD from the N349 the previous day.

I hope IRCC will not expect applicants to start using these figures as the basis for computing POF.

Hello guys,I have a question.
I am about submitting my second application after my first denial.
Ordered gcms note and My first denial reason was a result of lack of proof of relationship between myself and my sponsor. My sponsor is my elder brother.
This time around.. I added notarized affidavit of relationship, notarized gift deed of 3m, my brother attestation of birth and age declaration and one recent pic of i and my sponsor together.
My fears now is that I am using another bank statement of my elder brother (sponsor) and the account statement pages for 4months are about 80pages, is the account statement pages of 80pages too much? Would it b a red flag or would it be ok.. I need ur urgent responses pls.
Thank you guys.

Pls how did you order for gcms notes and how long did it take to come out?

Yes, you were rejected because of the insufficient evidences.

Even if you are working in your father's company, you should have declared it, and its a plus for you.

Secondly, do CAC for your father's company and claim that you work there.

That business alone is your strong home tie, because you are taking over the business after your study.

To increase your chances, obtain an employment letter from your father affirming that a job is reserved for you in his company. This will significantly enhance your ties to your home country and would convince them you will return home.

Additionally, it's advisable to provide your payslip as you mentioned that you are currently employed, along with your personal bank statement. Even if the balance is not substantial, the visa officer may be interested in observing the regular salary deposits into your account. It's not crucial to worry about your account balance since you are not the sponsor.

The insufficiency of funds could be associated with the credibility of your financial situation, such as the absence of a payslip, rather than the visa officer not seeing your sponsor's 15 million.

I would typically advise you get your GCMS note but the feedback from the VO are quite clear. However, you should initiate the GCMS note request while addressing the issues raised.

Is it possible for me to submit an application for the Spouse Open Work Permit (SOWP) and a visitor visa for my child before my spouse, who is a student, arrives in Canada, but has received approval?

Also, while the processing time for a visitor's visa from the UK exceeds 300 days, the processing time for a Work Permit is only 5 weeks. Considering that my child is a minor, would the processing time be linked to mine?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Dessymond394: 7:41am On Jun 16, 2023
The current exchange rate now is something else
Would this current exchange rate affect those that have already applied for their visas before this change in exchange rate?
Because now 13million naira is just 27,000Cad which was about 37,000cad before the change of rate.
And those applying now needs to show more money in their acc statement.
What are your inputs?
Would these new rate affect those that applied before the change of the rate.. cos me I applied first week of this month?
Responses needed oh pls

What you have said now is the truth tho. The payslip n all was the reason for the insufficient fund. And yes I have the note, all these were stated on the note. Thanks ooh,you can still throw more light on home ties biko
