That's because your pet dog is another man's delicious meat.

because each and every countries have different LAWS and REGULATIONS, therefore:
- just as it is ok to drink alcohol at 18yrs old in some countries, it is a crime in another...
- just as it is ok to drive a car for a 16yr old in some countries, it is a crime in another...
- just as its ok to have gay marriages in some countries, it is a crime in another...
- just as its ok to be polygamous in some countries, it is a crime in another...
- just as it is ok to marry children in some countries, it is a crime in another...

Each country determines its own based on the peculiarities of its society undecided

because each countries have their own laws, sytem of government, their own religion and status. you cant expect ALL these countries to have the same laws, when they are not even the same people&culture following the same religion.

but biology applies to all humans

yes it does, but biology has absolutely NOTHING to do with countries laws and regulations. all human beings look the same (biologically) but that doesnt mean that we all function the same. thus why we have different system of governance out there.

since the beginning of times, every tribes had their own way of life, rules and regulations, and governments are just a modern continuation of that.

why should biology not affect rules? what does function the same mean here? difference in language is not a reason for different rules to exist

because even other laws differ across the world. for instance, all laws regard murder as illegal but where it gets interesting is what is regarded as "murder". if someone says my god is foolish and I plunge a dagger in his heart it'd be a murderer if I did it in USA but I'd be celebrated if I did it in Saudi Arabia

Laws are usually not made in a vacuum, lots of factors influence making the law. I'm not saying it's right as it is but how do you convince a Saudi Arabian who regards a murderous pedophile as godsent to agree that age of consent is 16-18?
Re: Why Are There Different Ages Of Consent Across The World? by pansophist(m): 9:48am On Jun 17, 2023
Nigeria has the lowest age of consent, standing at 11 years old. cool

it means:
- different race
- different religion
- different way of life
- different way of thinking

as i told you earlier, what is right in some part of the world, is wrong in other parts, even though we are the exact same humans. in Saudi Arabia, women are not allowed to do many things that women elsewhere are allowed to do. their countries, their people, their way of life, THEIR LAWS and REGULATIONS.

just like today where some countries may have a A) democratic way of governance B) socialism way of governance C) communism way of governance, D) monarchy way of governance, E) oligarchy way of governance, F) sharia way of governance and/or G) autocracy way of governance.

This isn't true. The age of consent is 18.

This rumor is like the Nigeria india 1 - 99 match.

the answer is that, the most influential/richest people/upper class ,within a certain group of people, determine what is allowed and what is not. they determine how a certain group of people MUST co-exist. it is not about the number of those for or against fundamentally. it is about wealth gotten by hook or crook. by hook or crook meaning however possible. man precedes his laws. his laws dont precede him. his extinction cannot be survived by his laws.

the above depends on where you live... in democratic countries, the people vote for legislations to be implemented in the country. so for example, in the UK, the people voted to leave the EU, while in communist countries for example that wouldnt be the case. the above has absolutely nothing to do with wealth of individuals.

so again, this is not a black and white issue because each and every countries are different.

While biology can guide laws......laws are mostly based on territory behavioural pattern of the people there.....
In states where there are too many cases of adults sleeping with 16-17 year olds because it is legal..the age of consent law can be reviewed to 15 years old in order to discourage the adults and protect the minors that may have been groomed and manipulated at young ages.

Just like u have death penalty of cocaine trafficking in some places ....its because the cases of drug related deaths has become too high... so laws become tougher to manage the perlculiar pattern of behaviour in the country

if the upper class did not allow the uk to be formed as a democratic, it would not have been so.

too high or too many means the upper class are scared of losing their offspring to 'manipulation' or 'addiction'. i punctuate since they dont always see it that way. too high or too many also means they are scared of losing their labourers or losing those likely to become labourers to the same thing. it is about staying above. a nation is formed when the upper class unite 4 that reason. it lasts 4 as long as they plan in their own groups. however, humanity itself is not a plan. death is not a purpose,it is what we call the end of certain movements.

saying IF this and IF that on something worse that never happened.... is a negative assumption, that we shouldnt even spen 1second to discuss as it is a waste of time... lets discuss WHY LAWS and REGULATIONS are in place, and certainly not what would have happened if some type of governance were not in place.

if shows condition, not assumption. it is u that sees it as worse. all systems of ruling are different forms of the same thing.

man precedes ruling, not otherwise. the wealthy guys have always been, even b4 nationality started. the first thing was to claim as many valuables as possible, unto getting financial power. financial power+political interest=determination of laws 4 a system of ruling=a group of people with rulers.
