Cuntface:Which Igbos doesn’t hate Yorubas. You hate APC and you say you don’t hate Yorubas? How many Yorubas una accommodate for East in the first place? Igbos still don’t know that they can’t fight any war in Nigeria and win. |

Pityoobi:We don't like bad government. APC is not a yoruba party. There are yorubas in pdp and LP. You still love apc after their terrible performance because you're gaining something personal from them. As simple as that |

onuman:No ethnic group should be going to live in another territory and some significant minority of their members start consistently insulting the locals (or even any other ethnic group). |
| Re: Lagos To Demolish Distressed Buildings In Alaba International Market by Gamesmart: 8:55pm On Jun 17, 2023 |
onuman:You are member of this significant minority of insulters. What proportion of Nigeria's oil and gas come from the SE that was used to develop Lagos that you will start having mouth? |

Cuntface:I’m not Yoruba neither I’m I Igbo. A state can’t even do a thing without it relating to Igbo? Buildings have been collapsing countless times in Lagos which everyone here on Nairaland sees on daily basis. Something has to be done by a far more developing state to reduce that epidemics. Notices were sent to all landlords of all the dilapidated buildings in that area since 2016. Shouldn’t the Lagos government take charge of the situation to avoid another terrible collapse that might lead to death Nigerians and not just igbos? Attaching the situation to igbos is not what we other tribes were expecting see or hear as if the solution the LASG is taken will not favour every tribes residing and trading in that area. Lagos leads, others follow and it has Ben so and seen here, they upgrade and take drastic measures towards situation. Inferiority complex makes a man talk where it’s not needed and that’s what you igbos have been doing and it’s becoming sickening ![]() |

YouandiAllofus:Answer the damn questions and stop dodging: I note you said other parts of the country. Why would anyone want to make a Yoruba destitute by demolishing their structures in Kaduna, Bida or Jos? What would be the reasons? |

marlow1962:Yes ooo. Respect is reciprocal, you guys from the east lack respect. Do you know how many bridges you will cross from the east to west before you will reach Lagos? And you still wanna impose an igbo guy as a governor of Lagos. I was born and brought up in Lagos. And I have never vote or plan to vote here in the north before. |

| Re: Lagos To Demolish Distressed Buildings In Alaba International Market by SpatialKing(m): 10:45pm On Jun 17, 2023 |
luluman:The real people that usually call Lagos No Mans land are Yorubas from other states trooping into Lagos... There is no successful business man in Lagos that doesn't own a mansion in Igbo land that's why Lagos is usually dry during festive periods because Igbos does see Lagos as home.. But you see your fellow Yorubas from other states they are the once claiming they brought the narrative of Lagos being a no man's land.. |
| Re: Lagos To Demolish Distressed Buildings In Alaba International Market by luluman: 10:58pm On Jun 17, 2023 |
SpatialKing:Big lie. Ask your fellow yiebos if they never called lagos no man's land. They even said they are the developers of lagos.Dont preach lie here. |
| Re: Lagos To Demolish Distressed Buildings In Alaba International Market by Cuntface: 11:07pm On Jun 17, 2023 |
hopexter:For you to lie at your first paragraph, there's no other need to take the rest of the gibberish you wrote serious. We all know who dominated alaba market and we know what they were told before the demolishing started. So take your one sided crap and shove it up your ass |
| Re: Lagos To Demolish Distressed Buildings In Alaba International Market by Gamesmart: 11:20pm On Jun 17, 2023*. Modified: 9:32am On Jun 18, 2023 |
SpatialKing:You stated "There is no successful business man in Lagos that doesn't own a mansion in Igbo land", and then tried to use this statement to falsely insinuate "Most Igbos go East during festive periods". What a useless false fallacy! Are majority of Igbos in Lagos "successful business men"? What percentage of Igbos in Lagos are even business men? Can it be over 10%? What percentage of these Igbos in Lagos are successful business men? Oga, cut the crap! A vast majority of Igbos in Lagos (especially those born in Lagos) may have never been to the SE more than 4 times. Many that were born in Lagos or SW don't even know much about their home villages as they are 2nd or 3rd generation Lagosians or Omo Ibadan. For a majority, home and festive period to them is Lagos! Many have dual or triple identities: Dual - Igbo and a Lagosian Triple - Igbo, a Lagosian and a Quasi-Yoruba And, by and large, the ones that speak Yoruba have been accepted and adopted by Yorubas fully. |
